We went to Machi Picchu on a trip arranged by Peru Hikers. Having read other reviews of other companies, I was slightly worried that things may not run smoothly i.e. not being able to find our guide, missing the bus up to Machu Picchu. However, I needn’t have worried as the information provided was excellent and the whole thing ran like clockwork. Excellent staff - Evar the taxi driver who picked us up on time both at the beginning and end of the day, David who met us at the train station at Aguas Caliente and explained exactly what would happen and when to get us up to Machu Picchu and above all Gregory our guide who was absolutely excellent. He was so knowledgeable and provided us with an extremely informative day. He spoke English extremely well and made sure that we had a brilliant time and a fantastic experience. Thank you Gregory! On top of all that, the weather was beautiful with full sunshine and cloudless skies so our photos are amazing. Maybe they arranged that too!

Amazing experience overall. The agency took care of arranging all tickets from start to end. I discussed with them in advance what type of circuit I wanted and they handled the booking. At Machu Picchu, my guide was Carilia, and she was amazing, took me off the common route, along a trail, and I would not have been able to navigate it alone. The circuits themselves are complicated, especially with the changes announced in June ‘24. I am glad I had a guide by my side throughout. Highly recommend!

My family and I enjoyed the wonderful trip to Machu Picchu with Isao and Peru Hikers! It was a first class experience! Isao was such an excellent guide and so knowledgeable about Machu Picchu and about Peru. Isao is also the best photographer in all of Peru. Thank you Peru Hikers for making my dream to see Machu Picchu come true!

We had a wonderful experience with Peru Hikers. From the beginning to the end, they were very communicative and prompt with their response. Our guide Isao was phenomenal. He knew so much about the history of Machu Picchu and was also an excellent photographer, very courteous and kind. Highly recommend them!

Carilia was a magnificent tour guide! She made this experience worth every thing and more. We could have not asked for a better tour guide. From the start our transport arrived on time to take us to the bus station. After we got off the train Carilia was waiting for us and gave us a memorable experience. She knew everything about Machu Picchu. All of its history. We are so happy with Peru Hikers!

It was a good tour overall. The company, Peru Hikers, provided communications via WhatsApp from the moment of reserving the tour. It happened that no one else signed up for the tour on my date, so the company wanted to make some changes (change a train, bus, etc.) but with some discussions provided all service that was supposed to be included in full.
The guide, Marcial, was very good in guiding me through Machu Picchu and was very kind in his attitude. He usually does 4-day hiking tours, so knows a lot about the area and ways to get to Machu Picchu-would recommend getting a tour to hike with him if available.
The tour inside Machu Picchu itself took only 2-3 hours, and the rest (12-14 hours) was way to get there, back, and waiting for a train/bus in between, which was exhausting and wish there was a flexibility to choose the time of departure, but maybe with a group the whole process/experience is much more smooth.

We took the Machu Picchu tour with Peru Hickers with family and friends and the experience we had was exceptional! Isao who accompanied us at all times and helped with great willingness in everything. Jacob was our guide who provided the translation and explanations in Portuguese. There were children in the group and they were patient. Just hire! Too much show.
