I would have rated this a five but the ticket process was a mess. We believe that that was due to a system change. It caused anxiety! In the past the tour had a person that handed you your tickets at the door but they are moving to an on line system and even Trip advisor didn’t know that when we called. Our tickets came through What’s app at 1am. Thankfully we have that app!
Also, if you are afraid of heights or claustrophobic, this is not your tour!
The views were extraordinary from the dome, the crypt was very well done, and the basilica was stunning.

The view when you actually make it. The skip the line definitely helped alot. The person was very accommodating as I needed to add additional person and John was very accommodating for this.

We bought a ticket and it was sent to us. We didn’t realize we were not getting a guide. But we didn’t get a guide, we got an electronic ticket.

Lots of steps up to the dome but so worth it for the amazing views both of the inside of the cathedral and of Firenze. Beautiful and very special place.

Tour operator sent us our tickets the night before via text and was very responsive, had many questions and he answered all of them very quickly! The ticket was valid for 3 days and got us in everywhere for a skip the line, the location of skip the line was a bit confusing but not due to the operators fault, there aren’t signs at the duomo so you just have to ask the workers, the climb itself was broken up in places for resting and was narrow but ultimately worth it for the view. Bring water! The tour says that you have to check your bags but you can bring water and a fanny pack inside just fine.

Gulia ,( Julia)
Was an exceptional tour guide. She brought energy, insight and cultural awareness to her comments during the tour.
As a result I highly recommend Viator to schedule a tour for visiting Florence, Pisa and Rome.

We did not have time to see inside of the Basilica but these tickets were good for 72hrs to see everything about the Duomo along with your timed entry up the dome. But do not miss the bell tower!!! It has the best view!!!

Very high price for what the Cathedral or Cupula has to offer visitors. The best thing is the exterior facade. The climb to the dome does not indicate the real difficulty, it is not at all for moderate physical conditions and much less for those who are virtuous. Florence has much more to see, more interesting and cheaper.

Got the ticket and allowed us to have an entry time to climb the dome. But, I'd recommend just booking the dome climb early (like 3 months in advance) and avoid paying the higher price for this ticket. Also, find out what is open/closed on the day of your visit. The Baptistry is going through a restoration -so, the dome and large portions are either covered or obstructed. The Cathedral was closed while we were there. The crypt is underwhelming. The exterior is amazing but proximity to other buildings doesn't allow for good perspective nor pictures. After seeing 100's of Cathedrals in Europe, I probably should have skipped this one. I always wonder how God will view those that profit from selling tickets with such little value to see his house.

Tickets for this should not be sold on a Sunday or at a minimum after 1pm. We booked tickets for 3pm only to find out the Duomo is closed on Sundays & the Baptismal closed at 2pm. We were fortunate enough to be early so we did get 2 minutes in the Baptismal before it closed. The only thing we truly experienced for what we paid for was the museum which was very good.
