Learn to surf on the endless dream beaches in the south of Fuerteventura. An experienced surf instructor with a beach lifeguard license will introduce you to the water sports of the Hawaiian kings - surfing - in simple steps.
It doesn't matter whether you are a beginner or an advanced surfer - we attach great importance to small groups in our surf courses and can therefore adapt ourselves individually to the learning goals of our surf students.

Derek is a great surf instructor and it was great learning to surf with him. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Fuerteventura and would definitely go in the water with Otro Modo again.

Family atmosphere, very competent surf instructors… after the course there is an optional evening program near the surf school… leaves little to be desired

Great morning to learn to surf for the first time! ✨
Meeting point with the simple school, We had Félix for the lesson, very kind and patient because surfing is a very difficult sport 😅
Great weather despite a lot of wind that day
OTRO modo is one of the best schools in Fuerte to learn surfing, we came from the north of the island but we made the trip to Morro Jable beach
We recommend 💯% and can't wait to do it again 💗🌈🌞

A wonderful week in which we learned the basics of surfing, met great people and spent nice evenings together in local restaurants.
The booking was via email and bank transfer. It's weird and the Instagram and website are completely out of date, but we had a great time! The organization on site was handled via a WhatsApp group, so we were able to quickly make contact with the other participants and arrange to meet up after the courses.
Good wetsuits and boards were provided, we started every morning from the office and then drove to a few beaches to catch the optimal waves for us as beginners.
We were able to borrow surf skates to improve our feeling on the board.
Derik gave us the best tips on how to get the best out of every wave, that was really great! We could also have borrowed boards again in the afternoon to walk to the beach/ride the bike. Everything was super relaxed and easy.
Many thanks to the whole team 🫶🏼 the people there are absolutely lovely.
