Gavino is a nice guy with very little knowledge of the history and facts + figures.
His strengths were the current fashion labels and political movements.
While we don’t mind knowing about fashion labels, that can’t be the main information that we receive.
He had no history to tell us at the oldest city square or the church we visited. And we didn’t visit the main church.
Gavino would have liked to spend more time at the University but he wasn’t aware that we couldn’t walk through at the time of our tour.
While we thought that Gavino was a nice guy, he should certainly brush up on his city knowledge. We learnt more through overhearing other walking tour guides than from Gavino.
