Tour points were good. Guide was hard to understand. We decided we were going to stay inside coliseum and skip the rest if tour then guide rushes us out and then tells us we cannot renenter instead of telling us before exiting. Dissapointing.

This was an excellent tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend. The colosseum is a must for visitors to Rome.

Great tour with Massimo who was passionate and knowledgeable about Rome. Very hot but plenty of water available and able to top up bottle at multiple locations. Easy to find location of start of tour using app and directions. Would recommend this tour -just be prepared for the heat if it’s a hot day as a lot of the time in the forum it is pretty warm and our tour did this part first and the colosseum last which was different to what I expected (9.30 tour but colosseum booking ended up being 11.15)

We had ILY B as our guide and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. He knowledge of the Colosseum and the other areas the tour covered was amazing. Great 3 hours

While we had a good experience with most of our Viator-booked excursions, sadly this was not. First, the directions to the meeting site on the link took us to the wrong place. Luckily, someone in a different group figured out we were supposed to be across the street. Then there was a delay with the tickets, leaving us standing in the hot sun while we waited. However, the real disappointment was with the tour itself. While our guide was very knowledgeable and excited about his subject, he went on too much, while we stood in the sun, anxious to move on. He was more interested in talking than in pleasing his audience. I thought our tour included Palatine Hill and we did not go there. I was unable to ask him though, as I could not get a word in edgwise. I have taken, and enjoyed, other tours of the Coliseum, and this one didn't measure up.

The guide was very pleasant but the tour felt rushed with no real opportunity for questions which was a shame. It would have been better had the guide given fewer facts and spent more time providing insight through stories.

Although it was a very hot day, our tour guide Romano made it worth it. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history related to ancient Rome. It was a great experience. The only downside was that our itinerary showed a different order and changed our time for a half-hour later without a notification. Because of the extreme heat, it would've been nice to know there was a change and also correct order. Would recommend the tour, just be sure to communicate with the host if wanting more details on the tour.

The tour was amazing, saw the Colosseum, Forum & Pantheon- what incredibly stunning & atmospheric place. The guide was very friendly & knowledgeable & learnt lots of fascinating things about Rome & its impact on today. It was quite fast paced, perhaps the guide could do with a flag. We got lost at one point, but the guide was smart & got the company to call me & direct me to a meeting place. Great as we didn’t want to miss the Forum!
A great experience & would recommend.
