The tour was very well organised allowing us to cover mostly all the places at the cemetry. Seeing the Changing of the Guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier was a highlight.

The tour was great and well paced. Our guide ensured that we saw all the major hightlights including President John F Keneddy's Grave and tomb without feeling rushed. Her clear and concise explanations made the complex history enjoyable. Highly Recommended

Our guide Becca was both passionate & compassionate, creating a heartfelt and informative tour. She shared moving stories about the heroes buried at Arlington and explained the historical context with great emphaty. This made this visit fun touching and meaningful. This tour was perfect for our family, including our children. The gracefulness of guide engaged our chilldren which was great that even our child enjoyed the history. Wesley made sure to highlight aspects that resonate with both adults and kids, ensuring everyone walked away with a better understanding. it was a memorable visit that is highly recommended.

A friend and I debated taking the trolly tour of Arlington, which I have done before and was totally fine, but it was a gorgeous day so we opted for this walking tour. We were so glad we did! The trolly tour just gives you 2-3 bullet point facts at each stop, all pre-recorded. Our DC By Foot guide spent 10 minutes just telling us the fascinating history of how this former plantation home became the crown jewel of our American military cemetery system!! We learned SO MUCH at all the sites, but the incredible details we got before seeing the Changing of the Guard just made an incredible event that much more special for us. Cannot recommend this tour enough!!

This tour was incredibly, incredibly informative (and fun!). The guide, Canden, knew so much and was a true pleasure! The cemetery is a real who's who of American history, but I loved learning about how Robert Todd Lincoln (son of Pres) and the son of Robert E. Lee worked together to create the cemetery. Its a cool way to reflect on the United States and the people who have made it special. Highly recommend!

I'm really glad that I toured Arlington National Cemetery with a guide as opposed to by myself. DC By Foot's guides are very qualified. I especially appreciated that we were able to find the best spot to watch the changing of the guard, because of our guide. This tour was so good I signed up for the Lincoln Assassination Tour, as well.

Great tour to get an overview of the cemetery's top sites. Guide gave great information and recommendations if we wanted to spend more time there. They also told us the best place to stand during the Changing of the Guard for photos. With how big the cemetery is, I can't imagine trying to navigate it on my own, and the guide gave a more personal experience than the tram would have.

We had such a great time on this tour! I was a little nervous about the amount of walking we would need to do after so many full days in the city but it was perfect. Our guide knew the cemetery so well, it felt like we were taking secret shortcuts and he also timed the tour PERFECTLY to get us into the best position to watch the Changing if the Guard. We got there well before the people that had come on the trolly and we could not have asked for a better view and certainly wouldn't have managed it without our fantastic guide. We will definitely be recommending this tour to all our friends!
