The passengers can choose the destination.
Its possible to opt for the traditional tour route, that goes from the Marina do Freixo in direction of the sea and back. In meantime, we'll go under the 6 bridges that connect Porto to Gaia, we'll see the Ribeira and Port Wine cellars and so much more.
Another option is to go opposite side, in direction of the dam and enjoy the natural landscape. This option has less traffic and its a lot quieter. If you want to go for a swim that's the one to choose for.
If you cant to customize the tour and go to specific places or do specific activities, its also possible.

Ricardo was an excellent host, knowledgeable about the area, and the boat was comfortable and spacious for our group of three. We got served port and snacks as well, which was a nice touch, and could choose where we went. Next time I would book for 3 or 4 hours instead of 2, so we would have time to stop at a riverside restaurant, or take a picnic, and do some more swimming. Douro is stunning!

Absolutely fabulous sunset trip with Ricardo and his mother. Superb boat and the hospitality was great as was Ricardo’s knowledge of Porto and the Douro. Calm and serene floating paradise with wine and brilliant weather. A ‘must do’ when visiting Porto. Highly recommended and a big thank you to the captain and his able mate.
