Highly recommended; small group beneficial, and attention to detail significant. Top chef highly skilled, teaching and sharing his knowledge and excitement for Raman. Certainly not your American Raman. The stock was incredible! Loved the hands-on approach.

Amo and Yoshi were AMAZING. So talented, friendly and organized! And we made the BEST RAMEN EVER - they let us be very hands on. I would highly recommend this class as it was the highlight of our trip, and probably the best thing we ate in Tokyo!! Six stars!!!

We booked this pretty last minute, and it was 100% worth it. It was super amazing to meet the Chefs running the class. It was super interesting and the ramen was amazing, some of the best I had in Japan! I will for sure use some of the tricks, especially the egg pealing method, in my future cooking. Overall, I cannot recommend this experience enough!

We booked this last minute (day before) and I am so glad we did- this was the absolute STAR meal of our 14 day trip in Japan. The broth flavor was incredible and I couldn’t believe we made noodles from scratch!! Such a unique experience in their sweet home, private class just for us. Super memorable!

Take this class and you will have a smile on your face. Chef Yoshi and Amo are kind, patient and sweet-natured. Our ramen class was just the 3 of us (20 year old daughter, my husband and me) and our 2 teachers who were attentive, humorous and knowledgeable. Before returning to Tokyo, Chef Yoshi had his own ramen shop in Sydney, Australia. For our group Chef Yoshi had already prepared all the toppings plus 2 delicious ramen stocks (we had requested a vegetarian option — which was soy milk based, and a pork+chicken stock was made for the omnivorous).
In a relaxed atmosphere, within our hosts’ airy, home kitchen, we learned how to prep ramen eggs, pleat gyoza and make fresh ramen (aided by a pro pasta machine). Then we were rewarded with a fantastic lunch of our own making. These kinds of hands-on cooking classes are often our favorite memories on a vacation, and this was exactly the case here. We 100% recommend this experience.

We had such an amazing time with Yoshi and Amo! Making the ramen and learning about the process and them was such a great experience. With their help and knowledge the ramen and gyoza turned out so great and was the best food we have had in Japan! My family of 4 said it was their favorite experience we have done in our week in Tokyo! Yoshi and Amo were so great with our 7 year old as well and so inviting.

Fantastic ramen experience with Yoshi and his family. We were met at the station professionally and courteously. The entire cooking experience was educational, memorable, and most of all, incredibly enjoyable. Historical and culinary tidbits were sprinkled in throughout cooking. Our gyoza and ramen turned out fantastic. A must for any visitor to Tokyo.

My wife and I took this Ramen Cooking Class and loved it! Yoshi and Amo were great. A small group of 4 allowed for a quaint and social experience. Learned about the history and styles of cooking ramen as we made it. We also made dumplings and then ate a wonderful meal. And we got the recipes! Highly recommend this for a family or a couple.
