We are also the only tour operator on Maui with giant floating islands we attach to the boat. They can hold up to 17 people and are great for lounging after snorkeling, drift snorkeling for beginner swimmers, or just walking on water!
There's no soggy lunch wraps on a snorkel tour with Blue Water Maui! We only serve fresh chef prepared lunches, homemade banana bread and fresh fruit along with plenty of drinks.

I had three in my group. There were only a total of 5 counting us that had booked for our time slot. My husband was the only one that was also diving so I was worried they would cancel his dive but they didn’t! The highlight of the excursion for me was that they stopped and let us take pics and video of a huge group of dolphins we came across. I have never seen so many dolphins at once! One of the reasons I chose this company was because of the floating mat they have attached to the boat. I am a nonswimmer and being in the ocean gives me anxiety. I was able to lay on the mat and look into the water with the snorkeling gear on.
The tour guides were great and very patient. Would recommend this company.

We had an amazing time. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We had a mix of experienced divers and two new divers. And they did such a great job getting us all out to see the amazing sea life.

Loved every minute. Small group experience is 1000 times better than big boats. So much personal attention. Captains were personable and catered to all of us. Five is our family group ages ranging from 6 to 70! All of us had an amazing time. The masks that we brought with us were a problem and the guys furnished us with better ones! Can’t say enough great things about this company. Thank you Blue Water!

This tour is why you come to Maui! Brian and Chad helped our family make memories of a lifetime. We saw whales from the perfect distance (close enough to hear them breathe!!! but not so close that it felt unethical), had an amazing snorkel and then the perfect first SCUBA experience for our kids. We have hesitated to get our kids SCUBA certified since we live in a land-locked state. Our divemaster worked with the kids to make sure they were safe and comfortable and they LOVED it! Highly highly highly recommend!

Great day of whale watching and snorkeling! Both places we snorkeled were fantastic- lots of fish, coral, turtles, and even a shark. Captain Mark, Nicole, and Kevin were very helpful and had a lot of funny stories to keep you entertained. Lunch was tasty and I loved that they were willing to accommodate for dairy and gluten allergies. We really loved the fact that it was a small group- 12 people- which made for a more personal time.

I have been on a number of snorkeling -whale watching excursions in Maui. This one is by far the best! Small group, Great comfortable boat! We went to 2 terrific snorkeling spots with amazing fish, turtles and white tip sharks! The whales were very active, so Michelle and Brian took plenty of time to observe all the activity and did not rush our tour, We got back a little later than expected so we could take it all in! Wonderful guides, wonderful experience, we will definitely do this tour again, Highly recommend as a must do while on Maui.

This was one of the BEST experiences ever. Mark made sure that we saw plenty of whales while also getting a good amount of snorkeling in. You can tell he loves his job--his energy and connection to people on the boat. He made sure that I found the turtles I desperately wanted to see while snorkeling. I would book this again!

6 otta 5 Rating, My wife and two sons had a great time. Only challenge was finding the right spot to park. Both Guides were outstanding, they were and are extremely happy in thier work.
We claerly made the right choice, a family experience that will be hard to top.

We went on a scuba/snorkeling day trip with mark and Brian and they gave us the best experience. In the winter they also took us whale watching. We went to two locations and saw loads of turtles, eels, and fish. Absolutely amazing guys and great day.
