Begin your journey at the Hagia Sophia. This incredible architectural wonder has stood on these grounds for centuries. For years it was the largest church in the world, but it is the dome that makes it stand out to this day. The church's name means "Divine Wisdom" and you'll soon discover why.
Next, walk across the park to the Blue Mosque. Snap some pictures of the thousands of blue tiles that give this mosque its nickname. In Turkish, they still call it Sultanahmet Mosque, as it stands close to the Topkapi Palace and was used by the leaders of the city during their reign.
We then head to Topkapi Palace
Finally we head out for some shopping in the Grand Bazaar. These nearly 4,000 shops and stalls have everything your heart desires, so try your hand at bartering for the best deals around!

Our guide was very good and went at the pace we found enjoyable. I would recommend this tour as a way of seeing the major historical sites. My only comment would be it is a very long day to fit everything in and would have preferred two half days.
The palace was the highlight, set in gorgeous gardens with wonderful views over the Bosporus. Worth spending more time just relaxing there.

Good suggestions for lunch. He is very thorough and attentive to our needs. He is patient and keeps us good company.
He never asked us to wait unnecessarily. He has a lot of initiatives and will volunteer for better services.
We truly enjoyed this guided tour. We feel that the money was well spent. Surely, we highly recommend him and would love to get him on our next tour. Please extend our sincere thanks to his effort which was much appreciated.

We had a wonderful private tour of old town Istanbul today. Our guide is Erkan Elibüyük. He is an excellent guide. He is very knowledgeable. He’s helpful, courteous and patient.

Starting with the booking process , we booked the previous night and in few minutes we were contacted by our guide , Palomba. A pick up time was aligned and she came on time to our hotel in the morning and guided us all day . We did the tour with our daughters and she was very patient and flexible to accommodate to our needs and preferences. Palomba clearly demonstrated her many years of experience combined with her hospitality and professionalism. We really enjoyed the full day experience on the city . I would recommend her to anyone that want to enjoy the tour in old European side of Istanbul.
