Not the same as dumplings from Chinatown or other Dim Sum takeaways, these are the real ones that Chinese families enjoy at home, especially in Northern China, the birthplace of the dumplings, where they're part of the staple diet.
During this dumpling class, you'll learn how to make dumplings from expert Chinese cooking teacher Pan. You'll be shown how to make your dishes using authentic methods. With class sizes kept small and intimate, you will get full attention from Pan, who'll be around to make sure all your questions are answered.
This class begins with a short introduction to the world of dumplings and Asian cuisine — you will learn all about the history of dumpling making and how dumplings fit into modern trends of cooking.

Pan did a great job making my husband and son feel welcome. She has a nice home in a trendy and safe area. She related well to my teen son and explained Chinese culture and traditions. She also accommodated for his no seafood request. The dumplings were amazing and they were able to bring a good bit home for leftovers. They loved it!

This cooking class was a birthday treat for my daughter as she loves cooking and learning new skills.
We had a great time with Pan: she welcomed us with a big smile, made us feel at home with a beautiful cup of Chinese tea, shared interesting things about her culture and taught us how to make dumplings with three different fillings.
We then enjoyed some of them until we were full, but made so many that we took some home for the rest of the family to taste and enjoy.
Lovely lady, would recommend her class :-)

This was absolutely incredible! I took my partner for his birthday, and Pan made it a very special occasion. Pan is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and excellent at what she does!
We had so much fun learning to make authentic dumplings. Well worth the money spent. If you are wondering whether to book this experience, look no further, you won't regret it!

This was such a fun experience! Our host was welcoming, knowledgeable, and extremely nice. We now feel very confident that we can make our own dumplings at home. Highly recommend!!

She was very warm and inviting. She was very easy to be taught from and she showed me how to make everything, followed by letting me take over. I feel very confident in my dumpling abilities and will be making some today !

The teacher, Pan, welcomed my wife and I in from the pouring London rain. She took our wet coats and gave us clean towels to dab ourselves dry.
We then sat for a chat to get to know each other over some tea. Wow what a gracious host she is!
Then it was down to (fun) business as she showed us how to make her delicious dumplings from scratch, starting with mixing the dough.
After a couple hours of hands-on learning from delightful and cheeky Pan, we got to sit at her table and gorge ourselves with the 3 different flavors of dumplings we’d just made. We had enough to take home for another full meal for two.
The class involves kneading dough, light knife work to prepare the veg, mixing of ingredients into the meat, rolling the skins then filling them. All the while Pan demonstrating first, then allowing us to get our hands in there ourselves. You get better pretty quickly as she shows you tips and tricks!
We enjoyed ourselves immensely and highly recommend her class.

Pan's dumpling cooking class was incredible - I would strongly recommend it to everyone! The session was very informative and fun, and Pan was warm and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed learning about the different filling combinations and the technique for folding the dumplings. The perfect cosy afternoon experience, and a gift that will keep on giving now that my boyfriend and I are more confident in making dumplings for the future! Such a great experience. Pan is very welcoming and great at explaining all of the traditional Chinese techniques! Her recipes are so delicious and we made so many dumplings. We even had enough to take home with us! Pan also served us with traditional Chinese tea throughout the session. We would definitely go again.
