My family looking for a tour to provide an overview of Osaka with a mix of culture and history. Our tour guide Andy kept it real and gave us a 5-plus hour tour with some others who added their own personal flavor to the tour experience.

Andy was prepared from the time we showed up for the meet-up, personalizing the tour for his audience and providing us some behind-the-scenes of Osaka would would never have gotten on our own or through a general tour company. Andy was able to make the tour enjoyable for my wife and me as well as my 15-year-old. He allowed us to walk at our own pace, sample the city's flavors, point out locations we were personally interested in, and even brought us to a great place for a traditional lunch. When my 15-year-old was more selected for the meal, Andy made sure to find something that worked for them.

While everyone has their viewpoints of what they want from a tour, for our needs, Andy did the job and we were glad to have selected his tour. In fact, on our return home, we have already pointed out his tour to another family who may wish to visit Osaka in the near future.

My husband and I had just come in from 2.5 hours traveling, after multiple days of walking more than 30,000 steps per day. We were exhausted. Plus, it was raining. It was raining so much—and we hate rain.

We wanted to cancel the tour because we were so tired and because of the rain. But since it was a few hours before, it was too late to cancel and we didn’t want to lose the money, so we decided to show up.

we were SO HAPPY that we didn’t cancel and that we ended up showing up! It was an incredible experience. Andy our tour guide was hilarious. He immediately got us out of our slump with jokes and good energy and he also is a certified history teacher and really knew what he was talking about. He was so lovely and hilarious and he really brought the energy of the group up. We got to see the city of Osaka from the eyes of someone that truly loves the city, which is always so much fun. We had a delicious lunch and learned so much history and see some truly breathtaking incredible sights. It was such a good time it’s one of the highlights of my entire trip to Japan. We’ve been here over a week and i was sooo incredibly happy the whole day despite the fact it was raining A LOT and we were so tired. He gave were brilliant and so insightful. He was so humble too and didn’t wven ask us to leave a review. I asked him and then found the site myself which I never do for reviews. We are really grateful for a wonderful experience!!!

Andy was so enthusiastic about the city and it was infectious.
Our group learned a lot including serious and wacky information that kept us all interested. He made sure that everyone from kids to the adults were engaged.
He was a great host, treating us to lunch and drinks, so of course, I gave him a good tip!
It was the best tour I had taken anywhere in the world.
That says a lot because my family and I travel for 3 months out of a year.
If you are travelling to Osaka, make sure you book a trip with Andy! Superb!

Andy was our tour guide for our walking tour. He was absolutly fantasic with his knowledge on all the places we visited. Andy was more than happy to accommodate any changes/additions that we might like to see. He even purcased an umbrella for one of the women as it was a hot day. Great guide, would reccommend Andy for furthur guided trips

Andy was a great tour guide and a great introduction to Ōsaka! He was very informative and provided great history background for each of our stops. Add the bit of funny and break stops (we were traveling with small kids), it made the tour so much more enjoyable. Definitely recommend to others!

I have traveled extensively and I have booked many, many tours. Andy is in my top tier of guides! He is personable, knowledgeable, humorous, and quite considerate. And he responded to all communications readily. Usually, a guide lacks in one or more of the categories, but Andy had no weaknesses like his prior rugby game, I’m sure!
