We joined Golden Circle tour by Nice Travel the day before which was great, so we were hoping to have similar experience, but it turned out to be a bit below our expectation. The guide Sami spoke very fast which was hard to understand for non-native English speakers like us, and he rushed us at every stop so that we could visit as many places as possible, as a result we could not relax and enjoy the scenary. Also he was always looking at his phone and reading articles to explain the places. He said he does not visit these places so often.
I also asked him about orca watching in Iceland, but he seemed to have little knowledge or interest in whale watching. His answer was "They are here throughout the year, you just need to spot them. Go and check the website of whale watching company", which of course we have already done and was one of the least helpful answers I have ever heard from a tour guide.

Amazing views at the peninsula on a good day. Managed to spot seals as well. Walter is such an entertaining and nice guide (no pun intended), telling us history, information and useful facts on Iceland. Recommended.

Guide “Bear” was pleasant and professional. The pace of the trip was well-planned and the van was comfortably large. Sites are amazing! Though the food everywhere in Iceland seems surprisingly pricey, we were disappointed that the only lunch option was a visitor center with very limited choices, the least expensive of which was a soup for the equivalent of $25. The recommended fish of the day was about $40. Two elderly people on the trip did not eat lunch because they told me it was too expensive.

With Philip at the helm, the day was fun and informative. Great guide with a wealth of knowledge. His playlist was great, obviously a lot of thought was put into it. With every change of scenery, the music was on point. Thank You Philip for making the day memorable.

What an amazing day, from start to finish! Walter made our experience fun, engaging and was very knowledgeable and funny. We had more than enough time in the stops to take in the scenery and snap amazing photos. Iceland is so beautiful.

Our bus crashed and flipped over because our driver insisted “I’m from Iceland, I can drive”. Wind and snow and he should have turned around The road was impassible. Needed to be rescued from the overturned van

The Snaefellsnes Peninsula is just stunning, highly recommend adding this to your Iceland trip! NiceTravel were well organised and the trip ran smoothly. This was my first ever day-trip group tour so I thought the stops were appropriately timed, although there’s so much to do in 1 day that it is always going to feel a little bit rushed compared to doing it yourself at your own pace. But driving in Iceland in winter was one thing we didn’t want to do (coming from Australia)! Our guide Walter’s energy, jokes and passion really made the trip! His love for Iceland really came across in his tour. He also gave us a few extra photo stops, including one for Icelandic horses, which was amazing!
