I love the Big Bus tours & have used them in many cities across the world. The Singapore routes are great as there are two lines to reach the different areas/tourist attractions of the city. The buses are frequent, drivers were pleasant & buses in good condition. Would definitely recommend.

These buses are very convenient, but so are any other hop on hop off offering here and around the world, so this part they do ok. They have two lines and you can see all the main points of interest from the comfort of the bus and aircon if you are on the lower deck.
Talking about the lower deck, on one side the have a gigantic promo or advertising sticker that covers the majority of the windows on one side of the bus, so you cannot see anything there.
We had to deal with some very rude drivers that did not care about their passengers. I saw one guy taking off while a senior lady was trying to go up the stairs. I ran to help her and the driver did not care at all. The same driver yelled at me to sit down once because I was standing next to my mum, but I thought like any other bus, you could stay standing up while holding the many available bars around. We were on the lower deck.
There were several people with prams and this guy never even tried to put down the ramp. My mum, who uses a walking stick,always struggled to get on and off because as mentioned, no ramp, not even trying to get close to the curb. While travelling with another nicer driver, he did open the back door and was very polite and little bit careful. It was a bit of a surprise to see that the two doors could open....
Overall avoid if you can get around the train.

No need to rushand remember to keep your tickets safe.

Despite the negative feedback id read previously we decided to give it a crack and so glad we did. By using google maps in the big bus app it was easy enough to find the closest stop despite there being no signage. We did both the red and yellow tours which took app 3.5hrs without getting off anywhere. That then set the scene for things we wanted to do for the rest of our holiday. I certainly recommend

Bus goes past to fast for you to photograph the subject bus had no GPS commentary. It is so much better to get a MRT with a MAP of the Area and walk the area and take time to obtain a photograph

Very poor signage as to pickup and drop off sites. Was difficult to find where the bus stopped. Once we found the bus, the trip was ok. Buses were not very clean and some head sets were not working.

We suggest that they include more stops in emblematic locations... the buses did not have the best lining conditions as well as the audio, which could be heard very poorly due to interference.

We purchased a 2 day ticket online and redeemed it at our first stop. It can be at any stop and this is when you receive your headphones.. For us, this bus worked well. There was one day it rained, so we just sat inside the bus and were able to see sights without getting out or wet. There are no stop signs at shared bus stops so I suggest downloading the app and using the navigator tool to find the bus stops. The navigator maps on the app doesn't require the internet to use this feature. Phones have GPS trackers installed. It worked great and we had no issue finding the bus stops. There are 2 buses. They have different routes however there are 2 interchange stops meaning if you wanted to stop and get the other bus this is where you would get off to do that. The bus comes every 20-45 minutes. It was easy and a great way to see and get around the city.
