This tour will take you into the Arctic wonders, adapting to any condition, for an unforgettable experience!
Overlanding on board of a capable 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser we will reach some of the most beautiful areas that Tromsø region has to offer. Based on weather conditions, we will discover the sandy beaches and deep fjords of Kvaløya island, or the back country sceneries of the mainland.
Once left the roads we will venture for a scenic walk/light hike (depending on the group level of fitness), reaching untouched landscapes, frozen mountain lakes and breathtaking views.
Whether the ground will be covered in ice or snow, you will be provided with the necessary equipment to enjoy this activity: ice crampons, snowshoes, walking poles & thermal suits, as well as feet and hand warmers. You will get professional photos from the tour, but if you have a camera, do take it with you!
A warm soup for lunch, cookies & hot drinks for dessert will warm us up while out in the wild. Sounds nice?

Great day tour! Nico found a beautiful hike for us and was a great guide. The arctic landscape in winter is beautiful and it was really nice not having to worry about driving or finding a good hiking spot. He took care of everything. We enjoyed our time with him and he provided pictures for us after the tour.

I had an "arctic landscape hiking" experience with Nicola (aka Arctic Photo Guide) on the 1st of April. It was an amazing experience! We went to Sommaroy, we walked on the rocks and we had the possibility to see some truly amazing landscapes.
Nicola is really passionate about his job and this makes him a very good guide. Truly recommended.

We had an amazing day exploring the stunning Arctic Landscapes and the Fjords with Nico during the Arctic Landscapes Hike. We loved that the group was small and intimate which allows us to visit different and unique locations to take photos and soak in the beautiful scenery. Nico is an amazing photographer and takes great photos too! The warm soup and hot chocolate was also delicious! Thank you Nico for your company and for an awesome day! This hike tour was one of the best things we did in our Norway trip. Nico was an amazing guide who has an intensive knowledge about the area. He gives a very personalized tour which you might not find anywhere else. The amazing pictures he takes is an added bonus :)

Probably the best tour I went on during my stay here in Tromso. From stopping by to get geared up for the hike and giving the doggo some pets, to having lunch on top of the summit of the snowshoe hike, and all the fun slipping, falling, and learning how to manage using snowshoes for the first time ever. The photos came out amazing and Nico was just amazing as a guide. He also gave great tips for later that day to see the Northern Lights, which I also ended up seeing as well. Thank you Nico! Will deffinitly be back and take another tour with you.
Sadly can only rate 5 stars. Can't go any higher.

Having a nice lunch at the summit while enjoying the sunset was a great experience. Also got to pet and cuddle the doggo 🐕. Perfect hike.
