Addition to my original review below… Hugo was not up front and did not tell me what was doable or not prior to our tour. If he would have told me that the brewery was too far or closed then I would have made other plans. But why would he tell me that and risk losing $996 for a 5 hour tour? Don’t believe all the 5 star reviews. He offered me a partial refund to delete my review…
Original: I sent a list of things I wanted to visit and he was not up front with me if they were doable or not. There were things I wanted to avoid but we did them anyway. Was not worth the price. If you can't get him to agree to your requests beforehand then don't use him.

A very comprehensive tour of Osaka. Started with the Osaka Castle and from there we made our way to the different districts- the market, the electronics, etc. Dotonbori and America-mura to end. Our family focused on trying local foods (like takoyaki), so Hugo made sure that we went to very local places with amazing foods. What was ideal was that Hugo was very flexible and accommodated our interests, taking us through quaint back alleys and seeing small shrines, explaining history and engaging both the older and younger members of our group. An amazing day!

I booked the 3 hour tour of Osaka for my nine year old son and i, the evening before. Hugo accommodated the time we wanted at very short notice. He was very friendly, informative and considerate of what my son and i were both interested in.
Hugo made it fun, interesting, we had a great time. I would throughly recommend this private tour with Hugo as your guide!

We had Hugo for our tour guide and he was outstanding. We were so fortunate to have him as our guide. My sister and I really enjoyed this tour. It was raining the whole time but he made it very enjoyable. He is so entertaining and so fun to be with. The 4 hours went by so fast. Osaka castle was very nice. Also enjoyed Shinsekai and Kuromon market. We would definitely recommend Hugo. This tour was well worth it. We will definitely schedule another tour with him.
