My wife and I were the only participants on our Food Walk with Rigmor, our guide. Rigmor did a fantastic job talking to us and getting to know us. We very much enjoyed the food selections: mostly typical local fish dishes. The fish and shrimp soup at the Hotel Brosundet was out of this world! We are very glad we took the tour and highly recommend it. Thanks Rigmor!

An entertaining tour hosted by Nora, who was very interesting and keen to inform us about food in Alesund as well as much info on Norway. Thank you.

Guide was very good and the different foods and restaurants were fun. Guide went out of her way and took us to a grocery to purchase brown cheese. Interesting city and background. Meeting place could have been better. It was in the middle of a construction project.

Excellent food walk. Our friendly guide did a wonderful job of sharing the city with us. All of the food was delicious. We highly recommend this tour. No better way to learn about a city then through local food.

This walking food tour with Caroline on 13 July was one of the best tours we did during our 8 port cruise of Norway. Caroline gave us a lot of valuable Norway and Alesund information and the 5 dishes we had were excellent. They weren’t your typical small bite dishes like most other food tours but generous sized samples in beautiful settings that provided a hearty lunch. We can’t recommend this tour highly enough!

We had a great time walking and sampling the local dish. Rigmor, our tour guide, was very friendly and stopped at key points to provide historical information about the city. We sampled the local dish that we wouldn't know where to go or how to order if it weren't for this tour.
