I cannot say enough good things about this trip or my guide Mohamed awad. It wasn't too long, because after a while, it begins to all blend in for me, my guide was absolutely amazing. I think he speaks English better then me! I felt safe and protected the entire time. I had to ask how he knew so much because it was obvious his level of knowledge was well above the average person. What would've just been an open temple or uncurated tombs were transformed for me with brilliant history. If you aren't a fan of Egyptian history, prepare to have your mind changed.

Mohamed Awad is an excellent guide. He is so knowledgeable and kind, and explained every question we had in detail. He even knows how to read hieroglyphics! Our driver is also very professional. Will definitely recommend anyone to be on this trip.

Thanks to Aladdin, it was a very fun tour!! He gave me a lot of knowledge that I would not have known on my own!! I think that if you understand English, you can speak more directly without relying on translation apps, and if you use Egyptian English pronunciation and local names, you will gain more knowledge! On the other hand, it seems difficult without that. Translation apps are not yet sufficient. He also stops at souvenir shops selling papyrus and stone processing! Be careful with your wallet. There is no hard sell.
There are some parts that are rushed, so if you can properly communicate your wishes, I think it will be a very good tour. I told him, so I'm glad we were able to go to the places I wanted to go! He also provided information about places we didn't go to, so I'm looking forward to it even more. Time management is very important, so it's important to have a guide who is good at it! Aladdin was very good, so if there is a next time, I would like to ask him.

It was amazing tour with knowledgeable guide. We had very precious time to visiting at the west bank of Luxor.
The schedule is well organized and van was clean and driver also calm driving.
Except for paying attention to the sourvenir shop dropping in at is great tour.
Anyway, we recomend this tour for visiting at the west bank of Luxor.

Mohamed was the guide, very kindly and has a very calm and good English, has physical material with pictures to demonstrate, also knows very well the Egypt history and monuments, good experience.

We had a very fun and fruitful day on the west side of Luxor. We joined their tour on 2nd Jan 2024. Our tour guide was Aladdin, same as his name could always make our wishes come true! He and his driver came to pick us up on time, the car is air-conditioned which helps a lot in such a hot weather. Aladin speaks good English, telling us lots of interesting historical stories which you couldn’t find it thru google. He also helped us to skip the queue and get inside of the tombs with “fast pass”. A very responsible and 17 years experience in this touring industry, we could tell he’s really doing a good job there. He protected us not to get bothered by many souvenirs selling people. We felt entirely safe with him. He’s also able to making flexible plan according to your request.
We all know how important to have a good and trustworthy tour guide in Egypt. Wish we could’ve met him earlier and would like to join more tours of his. Highly recommend Icon Tours Egypt if anyone looking for a tour guide not only at Luxor but in any city of Egypt!
