I wouldn't go with anyone else! I've been enjoying tours with Baja Sur Tours since 2017 and the gray whale watching experience from La Paz is truly life changing. Not only do you have a very good chance for close encounters that can include petting a whale (just did that with this trip yesterday!) but guides are marine biologists with a ton of in-depth knowledge about the whales and the region.

Amazing experience. We did the regular grey whale watching - meet at Puerto Chale. Communication before was quick and detailed so we knew what to expect. On the day our guide and captain were fantastic. Not only super knowledgeable but also genuinely enthusiastic and excited when we saw whales. Highly recommend - the price is great and the people are friendly - they just want to make sure you have a great experience (the whales also wanted to make sure we had a great experience!)
