This was the most incredible trip we could have ever dreamed of!! Our guide, Carlos, went above and beyond to make sure we got to swim with so many whale sharks all morning long. Then, we went to swim with some very playful sea lion pups and did some exploring around the islands, to have the best ceviche of our lives on a gorgeous island beach. We loved it all so much, we had to do two days. Our boat captains Raul and Rodrigo were amazing. Jahaziel organized the trip of a lifetime! We will definitely be back!!

This tour, billed as both "VIP" (close personal attention in a small group) and also a "three hour snorkeling experience," amounted for my two sons and I to a grand total of 10-12 minutes in the water, in a chaotic environment with 4 to 5 other boats in a close cluster and dozens of other snorkelers splashing around. Apart from these 10-12 minutes, the rest of the 3 hours was spent droning around looking for whale sharks. We did see whale sharks, but in very cloudy water, not at all like the photo in the ad. As for "VIP" (for which we paid significantly more), we were jammed into a boat with a family of five at the last second, with no discount. For this "experience," over $700 Cdn. A profound rip-off, compared with other tours we took that week with other companies which were in fact awesome.

We had an amazing time on our whale shark trip with our guide Brandon and our boat captain. We got to swim alongside the whale sharks 3 times, Brandon was great and helped us swim to the whale sharks as they were hard to initially see in the cloudy water. The boat captain did a great job of finding more whale sharks and we even saw a manta ray. I highly recommend Baja Sur, they are professional and passionate about what they do.
