Let's go to the discovery of Fior di latte "La Mozzarella" in one of the oldest dairies on the Sorrento Peninsula under the slopes of Mount Faito.
Immersed in the greenery of the Vican hills, Master Cheesemaker Antonio will take you to the family dairy founded at the beginning of the twentieth century and will make you become the protagonists of Mozzarella with hands directly in the dough and explanations of the processing techniques after which you can taste the delicious cheeses.

We had an amazing visit with Angela and Antonio. We sampled cheeses from their dairy as a starter, prepared basil pasta with tomato sauce (tomatoes and basil from their garden!), and made tiramisu from scratch. Angela was great with our teens and kept everyone engaged and entertained. Everything was extremely hands on. Highly recommend!

Una esperienza davvero fantastica con le persone fantastiche in un luogo bello. Abbiamo potuto vedere com’è fatta la mozzarella nella tradizione storica più assaporare diverse varietà di prodotti di alta qualità. Angela, Antonio e la piccola Maria Grazia sono carinissimi e siamo stati molto bene nella loro compagnia.
Un'esperienza indimenticabile che raccomanderei a tutti!

Angela and Antonio were so welcoming and cultivated a lovely experience for guests at their family dairy farm. It's located in the beautiful hills of Vico Equense, which was a lovely change of pace from other tourist-filled areas. We got to experience the hands-on process of making mozzarella and were given demonstrations by Antonio along the way. To cap it off, they provided us with a delicious cheese plate so we could taste the variety of cheeses they produce, along with wine and the best ricotta dessert we'd ever had. All of which we ate under the charming veranda in the midst of their garden. They were both so friendly and best of all, I was able to purchase half of a caciocavallo in their store to take home with me!

Abbiamo trascorso una domenica pomeriggio fantastica all'insegna della Mozzarella "il fior di latte" e le antiche tecniche di lavorazione di tutti i formaggi del Caseificio, il tutto accompagnato dalla degustazione dei formaggi e dai proprietari Antonio ed Angela che ci hanno spiegato questa bellissima realtà artigianale che va avanti da 5 generazioni. Avanti Così, Complimenti. Ritorneremo molto presto.

Everyone, in a vacation or an experience, looks for uniqueness, originality, Italy seems to offer many.. if you don’t live in italy. As an Italian, you can tell when, at least in italy, something is really unique, original. Unfortunately for this country, everything is getting uniformed and commercialized, uniqueness is getting lost, even when it seems not. With Angela and Antonio, you can tell that’s not the case from the very first moment you meet them. They’re the last part of an Italian culture which is getting lost: made of passion, love and knowledge which is coming very far from the past. Angelo’s father was cheesemaker, grandfather and so forth . Everything is genuine, original, since ever. Knowledge that comes from the past, handcrafting made of ancient, sapient gestures. They milk their own cows, they grow their own vegetables, raise their own chicken and use their own eggs, the bread, the wine, all local, all original from this very unique place. Being with them is grasping a little of all of this, not just mozzarella experience: true, original, fantastic Italian experience. Thanks Angela and Antonio (and your little daughter Maria Grazia) for giving me the possibility to experience all of this, for letting me be part of this wonderful Italy.

This was a highlight of our trip! Angela and her husband welcomed us with open arms to share the art of mozzarella making and their family history. They are hard workers who take a lot of pride in their business. The experience, food, and hospitality were top notch!
