The adventure begins in the center of Porto, from where we will set off for the High Douro Wine Region. Along the way, you'll be able to appreciate the undeniable beauty of the city before we reach the Douro Valley, where the landscape changes to mountainous slopes decorated with vineyards and terraces.
On arrival in the Douro Valley you will embark on an hour long boat trip, where you will have the opportunity to observe all the beauty of this region from the unique viewpoint that the river provides.
Finally, you will visit two estates where you can enjoy an exquisite traditional lunch and learn all about the history and tradition regarding wine production by tasting the region's most prestigious Port and table wines.

We had a brilliant time. The Upper Douro is spectacular and we had a great boat trip. The lunch and port tasting was great but don’t have the veggie pasta it’s not something the Portuguese do well!
We had a great time time with Nuno our guide just don’t mention labradoodles or pets generally to him!!
It’s great to spend time genuinely laughing with someone who gets your sense of humour.

I was initially worried about this tour because there were no reviews but boy was I wrong. This was the best day of our Portugal trip. The food and wine was splendid, the sites 11/10 and our guide Emmanuel was the BEST. If you are looking for the best private tour of Douro Valley, you’ve found it here!
