Overall the trip was good, but I think it just wasn’t for us. The area is very touristy, and we knew that going into it, however we did just feel like we were constantly in a crowd. Harry was a great guide, and was making sure we were always comfortable, so that part of it was great, and the bus was comfortable. The room on the boat was clean and the bed comfortable, but not soundproof. We were kept up late at night past midnight by the people in the dining area, and after politely asking the staff to either move the guests or asking them to quiet down, they did not seem to want to help much. This did detract from the experience for us. Other than that, the boat staff were lovely.

We had a great time with La Pandora in Ha Long Bay. The cruise boat was amazing and Victor was a fantastic host along with the rest of the crew!

Had an excellent cruise. Our guide Victor was fluent in English and very helpful. The facilities on the cruise very great. The kayaking, boating and swimming activities were real fun. All in all had great time. Would recommend 10/10.

It was very nice everyday guide was also good picka but drop was also good then guide is very best person and all people in cruise were nice cooperative very amazing experience in cruise

The trip was amazing and Victor made it very exciting. He was involved and made sure everyone is comfortable, provided all the information and took photos too. Excellent hospitality.

We did a 2 day 1 night cruise in June 24 with my two adult daughters and we shared a room. We were collected from our hotel and travelled in an air conditioned coach to Halong Bay andmade one stop each way at rather touristy souvenir "service stations". One had a demonstration on local pearl harvesting, which was informative and the toilet facilities were spotless.
We were glad we had booked the overnight cruise, as the day ones seemed more party boats and were crowded in their part of the bay. We were assisted with our luggage onto a small boat which involved coming down about twn steep concrete steps and then taken out to the cruise boat . Staff were friendly and very helpful. Most spoke some English. We enjoyed the range of food, buffet style but maybe not quite what would be considered 5 star rating in the UK. One niggle was that the coffee tea and juices were not included with either the main meal or breakfast.
The scenery was beautiful and the ships were mindful not too crowd the area and tended to position themselves as out of sight as possible. My daughters enjoyed kayaking and sea swimming ( off the ship) . I didn't feel I could go in as no launch pad at the sea level. Shrimp fishing was mean't to have been on offer but didn't seem to happen, possibly due to the weather. We also enjoyed Tai Chi at 630 in the morning, on top deck of the ship.
The room was lovely, spotlessly clean with a comfortable large double bed next to a large full height window with another full sized single bed in the room. A selection of complimentary toiletries , beverages including bottled water and fruit was available. One little niggle was that the toilet had an all singing and dancing closomat seat that had numerous settings but didn't seem to be working and there were just two outdoor chairs on the balcony. Kevin was our guide, approachable and organised.
It was very enjoyable and glad we did it but felt a little bit rushed and touristy. Halong Bay is beautiful and appears to be well kept and unpolluted just glad we were doing it in low season. Interestingly there seemed to be small traditional fishing boats with one fisherperson earning their living in the bay amongst the more modern cruise ships.

We have a great time in halong bay cruise it was quite good, all the views were great.
Our guide Victor helps us in all way he can in our itinerary and the food,
It's a pleasunt stay , will recommend people to visit and enjoy.

Amazing time, enjoyed very much the time and the people on the Cruise. Danny was very well organized with activities that actually are more then the ones described such as pearl museum, learn how to make spring rolls. Thanks to Pandora!! Halong bay is impressive, nature wonder 👏👏

Cody was an excellent tour guide who helped us with everything and went above & beyond, to ensure our trip was memorable. Our first cruise and our first international trip with our daughter couldn't have been much better. The entire staff of La Pandora were excellent and I will wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.
Indians who are vegetarians or only eat chicken - there is still a lot of options for you. Ensure you communicate your dietary preferences early - but please don't expect Indian food onboard. They can only help you so much :)

A bucket list item that did not disappoint. The tour guide Danny was fantastic as were the crew. The activities were great and well organised and the food really good.

The only negative is that for a must see place the rubbish in the water was pretty average in places although expected to some degree.

Highly recommend and if you get Danny as a guide ….. bonus
