Excellent one day trip with Cong Tour Guide. Started the day with Vietnamese coffee and ended the day visiting historical site Chu chi tunnel.

Awesome. Oustanding. Breathtaking. An incredible experience.
Aurora was our guide and took amazing care of us from the start. She sent a pre-arrival message, arrived promptly and on time at our hotel. Introduced us to the amazing Mr Tang (?), our driver, who kept us entirely safe on the long journey to the Black Mountain.
So we had to decide whether to go to the top of the mountain and see the Black Virgin and the new Bhudda exhibition/statue or to the lower site. I reccomend go to the top.
The views and expereince is humbling, emotive and jaw droppingly beautifu;
Aurora guided us around the site to get maximum benefit from the venue and we left exhausted by the experience - not tired, just overwhelmed.
Next we were off to the Cao Dai Temple to watch the spectacle of these peaceful people venerating their Supreme being. Truly humbling.
Yes, next! We were off to an amazing lunch, then the Cu Chi Tunnels and experience something of what the Vietnamese and US combatants saw and lived with. You'll need a sense of adventure to get into the tunnels, which are just long enough to give you the authentic feel, but not too long to be claustrophobic.
Overall an outstanding trip and expereince, made all the better by the delightful Aurora.

The tunnels were not what I expected. The Black Virgin was spectacular. I really enjoyed it because it is a landscape in the heights. The huge Buddha is impressive. Highly recommended

Cu chi - ok, cao dai - ok, black virgin mountain - amazing. Solid 4 out of 5. Good guide, a bit long distance, or rather slow driving, but that can't be changed, it's Vietnam. Definitely recommend!

First stop was at Cu Chi Tunnels. You need a good guide here to explain the history behind each of the points. This is not a place for photo sessions rather you should know what happened in the past from your guide.
We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant. The place was average but the food served was very tasty, fully authentic Vietnamese cuisine. We really liked it.
Next stop was at Black Virgin mountain with Cao Dai Temple. The cable car was very nice and well maintained. A must visit place. Please make sure you spend sometime in this location. After sunset the place suddenly becomes very cold so please carry warmers.
Our guide was Nancy. She was very supportive and sharing information throughout the trip. She also helped us in purchasing some of the local items.
The driver was a bit slow and we reached hotel late - just a feedback to the Team which they can take care off.

We had an amazing day with Aurora to see the Black Virgin Mountain, Cao Dai Temple and Cu Chi Tunnels. She spoke excellent English and went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable and well informed experience, and she took many pictures which were then shared with us.

Door to Door...nope. They said they didnt pick up at our hotel. But we knew they did this as we had read other negative reviews.
Our guide & driver were phenomenal. Fun & Funny.
The vehicle was air conditioned. And lovely.
The tunnels, the black mountain & the temple were bucket list experiences.
The meal, which was included, was underwhelming. Wish they had an option to upgrade that. First class experience...second class food. meh
Highly recommend as day trip out of Ho Chi Mihn (But try to bribe them to take you to a better meal, ha ha)

We did a 1 day private tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels with Loan. Since we did a similar tour with Tiger Tours in 2015, Loan made sure to take us to a different area this time. Loan is very friendly and likes to make the tours unique and special for each person/group. We highly recommend Tiger Tours if you are in Vietnam!
