Note: Please book only if you’re able to hike (without mobility restrictions).
Las Paylas is a moderate hike with a steeper slope. Angelito is an easier trails of El Yunque.
Round-trip transfers are provided

Things to bring:
Proper shoes: Sneakers AND SOCKS or water shoes. NO CROCS, FLIPFLOPS OR SANDALS!
Towels, sunblock, plastic bag (for wet clothes, muddy shoes)
*Wear bathing suit underneath your clothes
**No tote bags. Backpacks only. You will need your hands free to hike safely

This was the BEST family day of our trip. Our guides Yatzel and Kathy were THE MOST loving and kind couple, being on the tour with them feels like you’re with your best friends. They made sure we were able to safely navigate El Yunque while having a blast. Kathy is also a Nurse Practitioner which is always a plus :)
The beach part was a BLAST with great food, it was a perfect ending to the long day. It was nice to be in a small group tour compared to the other very large groups we saw.
We are so happy that we booked with them!!

Such a fun experience! Yatzel was such a great tour guid! Very detailed and safe. My so really enjoyed the water and had fun jumping off the rocks. My favorite was the water slides. Such a cool experience! 10/10 would recommend again!

Yatzel was a great guide, got us to the rock slides before the crowds showed up so we could peacefully enjoy them at our pace. He then had spot on references for places to see during the rest of our stay in San Juan. Awesome!! Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience! For the length of the tour, this was a good balance between hiking and water activities. Juanzel (tour guide) knew his stuff. Spot on for what time to go to avoid crowds in the rain forest, where to take pictures, where to eat at the beach. His first and foremost concern was safety when navigating the rocks and waterslides, and he made sure we were using proper techniques to avoid injury. The "bring with" list is water shoes and socks. Bring them! they are a must for traction when climbing the wet rocks, but be prepared to toss the socks when you are done. Tour starts at 8am for good reason. We were ahead of the crowds at each tour stop. In the car, we got a good introduction to the history, culture and geography of the island. He also recommended other good tourist activities and restaurants. The pick-up point is a grocery store parking lot that is used by several tour companies. The lot has 2 levels, so make sure you are communicating thru text / viator app so you can locate each other. Do not hesitate to book this one. You will not be disappointed.

This was an AMAZING experience! Yatzel has a genuine passion for showing everyone how beautiful this island is. I was lucky enough to be the only tourist on schedule that day! We started the tour at the waterfall slides: one advanced slide and one easier. He carefully instructed me how to safely slide down and took videos of me sliding. Safety is paramount for him, especially when climbing the slippery rocks. Then we went to the Angelito Trail. This was my *first* favorite part. The lake at this trail was so peaceful and calm. There was plenty of space to swim and take beautiful photos with the majestic scenery. (Yatzel is always willing to take the photos.) I could’ve stayed there all day. It rained on and off that morning, but it’s a rainforest, and that added to the magic. Next, we went to the Luquillo kiosks, my *second* favorite part. There are dozens of restaurants to choose from, so we chose one of his favorites. Yatzel offers suggestions and I went with the sweet plantain stuffed with shrimp and skirt steak. It was such a generous amount of food for only $15! The food was delicious and flavorful. I chose not to step over to the beach as I was exhausted from the water fun earlier. I highly recommend this tour to EVERYONE! I will do it again when I return for another trip. My *third* favorite part was cuddling his adorable chihuahua, Loofy :)

What a marvelous personalized experience! Nothing like a local who is both personal and a hugely personable tour guide! We wanted a tour where we could really experience Puerto Rico. We saw local beaches, water slides, and wonderful food! It was like if your best friend lived in Puerto Rico and you went for a visit! We enjoyed our first day so much we did another day and let our guide choose where we should go. Just outstanding! Our whole family (2x 20 year old girls and their parents) really enjoyed themselves.
