Witness the brilliant colors of a sunrise over Diamond Head crater. Ideal for early birds, couples or families who are up at the crack of dawn during their Hawaiian vacation due to time zone changes.
As we start out our tour from Alawa’i boat harbor towards Diamond Head alongside of the Waikiki coast, it will be a short boat ride to reach the Turtle Canyon snorkeling site.
This spot is known for the large numbers of sea turtles that float above the reef while the reef fish swim around them and clean their shells. When the turtles come up to breath, they can even be seen by our guests relaxing on the boat!
After our snorkeling adventure we will set our sails and head towards Diamond head, these early morning hours are the best chance to see the Hawaiian spinner dolphins playing and swimming around the boat.

Loved the end to end experience. Great small boat trip to take if you are looking for a more specialized and peaceful adventure. Great for kids and the crew even shared additional activity ideas for our time on the island. Highly recommend.

I was visiting my best friend to celebrate my birthday in Hawaii, she booked us a private snorkeling 🤿 with, Waikiki Sailing tours , my best birthday present ever, Captain Tony is the best we had the place for ourselves before the large overcrowded catamarans arrived,,so many fish and turtles,, it was worth to go early and to book with him , thanks Tony you made my dream come true I recommend him to everyone who want get away from the crowd and experience the Aloha

Captain Tony and Abe were amazing! It’s definitely worth it to get up early and enjoy the ocean before the crowds get there. We were able to see turtles, dolphins and tons of fish! Abe was so knowledgeable about the ocean. Can’t say enough good things about these two.

This trip was awesome! Captain Tony and Abe were the Best. There was numerous green sea turtles and lots of different fish while snorkeling. It's a very small group that you go out with. Just you and your Ohana. Unlike all the other tours with tons of random people around, which is way better and much more intimate than the big groups on all the catamarans we saw. They also went out of their way to drive us out to see dolphins after we snorkeled! It was just me and my girlfriend and our own private charter! I Highly recommend the experience with Captain Tony and Waikiki Sailing Tours aboard The Universe!!

What an experience! I will for sure use this service next time I come to Honolulu. Abe and Captain Tony were very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. They also got us to have a more intimate experience by going early. Before all the other tours got there. All I can say, is WOW and Mahalo 🖤 book your excursion with them, you won’t be disappointed! Had an amazing time with Captain Tony for our snorkel adventure. We saw Dolphins, Turtles and plenty of fish.
We had the while reef to ourselves for almost 2 hours because we went out earlier than other groups.
Would highly recommend going out with Captain Tony.

Tony is amazing. This is a great way to sail without the crowds. Boat is a bit over 40 foot and the perfect size for a nice sail. This is a can’t miss.

Captain Tony and Abe were fantastic. Getting to their slip to board the sailboat was easy, Captain Tony explained all of the safety things that we needed to know in detail and answered all questions, and once we were in the water Abe was very knowledgeable. We saw more than enough turtles and dolphins to make it all worthwhile. Myself and my 11-year-old son did this together, my son is not a swimmer, and was very apprehensive to go snorkeling in the ocean... He absolutely loved this experience and I attribute that to our captain and Abe. If we ever make it back to Oahu we will for sure be booking this again! Special shouts out to Nikki at our hotel for recommending this... All three of you are absolutely amazing!

I loved that captain Tony was our captain! He was very genuine, he helped us up & off the boat. Educated us on the waters & animal wild life. Tony also made sure we had drinks to keep us hydrated! The life guard that works with Tony was also amazing! He got good videos & photos of me & my wife with the sea turtles & fish! When we book again we’re definitely booking with them two again! I love & enjoy the ride & snarkling with the crew. Made me & my wife’s dreams come true!
