➡️ In their creative experience, each participant will have the opportunity to paint a tile, choosing from a variety of pre-designed replicas of traditional Porto tiles, while giving free rein to their imagination and inventive/creative spirit.
The piece will be ready for pick-up 2 hours after the end of the workshop. At Domus Arte, we don't just offer an art workshop, we provide a cultural and creative adventure tailored to your preferences.
Program:
- A brief introduction to the history of tiles in Portugal and Porto;
- Tiling techniques/Importance of Majolica;
- Simulation of tile painting to your liking or with a drawing of a traditional Porto tile.
We can customize the experience for groups, including bachelorette parties, making it an unforgettable event for you and your friends. We are pet-friendly, and we invite your furry friends to join in the fun.

This was such a fun and interesting workshop!! Beatriz was amazing and made the class feel very personal and positive!! I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in getting a hands on experience with Porto’s azulejos!!

Visiting Portugal means: tiles! Especially Porto is a real open air museum when it comes to this handcrafted art. Inspired by all the little squares we booked this course and loved it. Beatriz was our host and what an energy! After a little introduction and some history you start finding your inner Picasso. We got a glass of port to free the mind and within 1,5 hours you make your own souvenir. Recommended!!

It was so fun to learn more about Portuguese culture and especially the story behind all the beautiful tiles that adorn the city, and then try to do one yourself! Highly recommend this experience.

Beatriz lead a wonderful class on tile painting. I had a friend visiting from the US and we thought it would be fun to spend some time learning to decorate tile using traditional Portuguese patterns. We were right! It was a small group for this particular class. Beatriz showed us painting techniques and how to use the materials. After the class our tiles were fired in an oven and we got to take home our creations. Lots of fun and a nice way to spend a some time with a good friend. This was my introduction to painting tiles and I would love to do more of it!

An activity designed for art lovers. In this tile painting workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your own beautiful tiles in the traditional Portuguese style. No prior training is required and, with the help of expert tutors, anyone can do it. We had a great time painting our tiles with Beatriz. She is very sweet and patient and helped us when we needed it and offered suggestions when we had questions.
