Jung was amazing from the time of booking (a few months prior to tour) all the way to the hour after the tour. He responds to all the questions you may have before, checks in with you during, and makes sure you are okay afterwards. This is a walking tour, so as long as you are able to walk, you will be fine. There are some uphills, some stairs, but it’s not hard especially when you are in conversation with Jung or other members in the tour. The small group makes it easy to get to know each other just a little bit more. There were some older people like my parents, and some late teens like my kids. There were a total of 10 people joining in. I really enjoyed the history lesson, the interactive guessing games related to Korea, and the overall atmosphere of the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour. Even if I could get in to the Blue House on my own, there is no price I can put on the information shared with us. Very engaging and well worth every cent! Don't hesitate to book this tour with Jung! He is communicative before your tour so you know where and when to meet. Jung is very friendly and checks in with you often to make sure you are getting what you want out of the tour. He does a great job navigating you through the interesting parts of the Blue House and also provide information about some of the social aspects of living in Korea. He comes prepared with an iPad with pictures to illustrate harder to see details of the house. Before this tour, I honestly didn't know if the Blue House was worth a visit, but Jung made it a worthwhile experience.

Jung, our guide, made this visit truly exceptional with his engaging question/answer format and fascinating facts at each stage of the tour. The small group format was especially informative. He brought this building to life with stories and knew so much about the various presidents. He had a nice gift for us at the end to commemorate the visit. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

This tour was absolutely phenomenal. I expected having a tour guide to be a worthwhile for a place full of history, but he made it more than just a tour with fun facts. He made the tour into an interactive adventure! Jung was extremely attentive and pointed out both the history and the cultural aspect of the Blue House and Korea. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough.
