Valentin and the Pachamama team exceeded my expectations. I was not certain what was to come or what I would take away from this opportunity to explore Peru, but Valentin’s & Kenny’s extensive knowledge offered everything I didn’t know I needed. Their genuine, passionate delivery and expertise left my heart full, my soul enlightened, and my spirit craving a return trip. This team provided more than a guide for me and the group I was with. The Pachamama experience provided a sharing of their country’s history that could only come from a place of true pride. I have grown thirsty with desire to learn more about the people and culture of Peru. I owe that to the Pachamama experience.

I came to Peru on a Yoga retreat and Valentin's Pachamama Journey's was partnered with this retreat. Their professionalism and kindness throughout the trip was unmatched. It's hard to express my full gratitude for this experience, particularly with Pachamama Journey's. Valentin and Kenny spent everyday with our group greeting us with open arms, kind hearts, patience, and ready to teach the beauty of the culture. I was able to truly connect with the land, appreciate the culture, and absorb what Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Rainbow Mountain had to offer because of them. They facilitated an experience that not only allowed us to see the wonders Peru has to offer but also offer a shift in perspective that I will carry back with me to the states. And for that, I am eternally grateful. I cannot recommend them enough!

What an incredible team to guide us on our yoga journey in Peru! Valentine, with his extensive knowledge about Peru, is always ready to answer any question with humility and humor. When he's occupied with part of the group, Kenny seamlessly steps in to assist and Beto is an amazing driver who made us feel safe, even on the most challenging terrain. Valentin and Kenny ran our tour personally and Beto drove. I believe in this case he worked through the international Yoga organization and I bet they’re glad to have him. Our experience with Valentin was truly extraordinary. He always hit the right balance between education and entertainment, and was truly masterful in his ability to corral everyone in the group. We had several group members who had physical limitations due to age, illness, or altitude and he always went above and beyond to include everyone and provide an exceptional experience — even renting a motorbike to get someone to the top of Rainbow Mountain! This was definitely one of the most profound and moving travel experiences I’ve had. I encountered people and places that were brand new to me, and I learned so much. Thank you, Valentin, for sharing your beautiful home with us!

This trip was really amazing. Farm visit with Valentin and Kenny was a great experience and a unique way of learning traditional qay of farming and cooking. Piscaruins with Floor was fanrastix. Floor was not only a very smart and learned tour guide but also a very caring and strong leader. The train ride feom Ollantytambo to Machupicchu was another beautiful experience with Floor and Kenny. Lot of History about Machu picchu architecture. Altogether a wonderful and memorable experience. Highly rwcommended.

Our guide Elvis, all the porters and Royer the chef were all exceptional. Elvis was knowledgeable, friendly, good company and just the right amount of reassurance to ensure the 4 day hike was an enjoyable challenge. Royer’s food surpassed what is usually served in a top class English restaurant and even more amazing that it was cooked at the top of a mountain! Seven dishes for lunch! Prepared and served with fun and enthusiasm .

My small group of about 7 spent several lovely days with Valentin and his team. They were incredible guides that made excellent recommendations, chose great sites, and put me at ease throughout our trip. Additionally, other guides often greeted Valentin warmly - a good sign from those "in the know."

Valentín and his team does a fantastic job! They are very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their work made our trip so much more rewarding with their extensive knowledge of the area. This includes local food, the sites we visited, and where to go for emergency needs. Also as someone with very limited Spanish, they made me feel welcomed and informed in a place where I dont speak or read in the local language. I couldn’t be happier with the experience they helped cultivate. The only bad part was saying goodbye to these folks who were incredibly kind and amazing. I hope to see them again!
