The route was incredible, a unique experience that we recommend and would repeat, impressive views of rice fields, corn and local villages, without disrupting the lives of the local people unnecessarily. The route was not very difficult but you have to be in good physical shape. Our guide, May, was charming and had the best level of English I have heard in Vietnam, which made the experience much easier and she was able to explain a lot to us about the different local cultures. The family that hosted us was lovely too!

Views were great and our guide was very friendly and full of information about the villages and the plants. There were a lot of water buffalo and baby chicks, ducks and some pigs.
