What makes this experience special;
This kind of Japanese calligraphy is very unique. Even for Japanese people, it is rare to have it experienced! We are the only place that you can try this kind of Shodo experience in Osaka!
We use enormous calligraphy tools for this special activity. A brush is 1.2m (4ft) long and the washi paper that you draw a Kanji is 1.5m (5ft)!
We're located next to the Osaka Castle Park. It's easy to plan it together with your visit to the castle.
All pictures will be taken by a professional photographer.
You'll be accompanied by our English or Chinese speaking assistant.
You can take your Shodo work home as a memory of Japan. Worried about carrying around? NO worries. We'll make it compact for you!

This one hour calligraphy experience was one of the highlights of our trip. We were not only introduced to this artistic and unique art form, but learned how to wear traditional kimono and hakama in an authentic environment. A must do when visiting Osaka.
