2 words great experience. our guide was a pro picked us up at our address and without any gps or anything took us to our first stop Cetinje the old capitol of montenegro he hed some intresting facts some beautiful scenery he was in no rush gave us some time to explore on our own next stop was at the river Crnojecica this was some of the most beautiful water i have seen if you are not afraid of boats like me definitely consider a boat ride option here after some beautiful scenic fide we have arrived at the winery a small yet very charming place with some great history food and well wines i must say i have not enjoyed them all but then im not a huge wine person definitely consider coming at the late evening or early morni g becouse it gets hot and afterwards red wine can be difficult to drink food was great i have enjoyed it a lot last stop was only a photo stop in a secret place 😄 only known by the guide

There are only 2 things i can criticise but in no way are they a deal brakers
1 if you wish to purchase the boat tour or some of the great produce in the winery bring cash no cards here
2 The drive was not for the weak minded the roads are narrow and people here drive fast if you dont feel good in a car you might not enjoy the drive but for me it was a great part of the tour the scenery here is amazing

So a summary
Great food great wine great scenery and a great guide
I would book again

This was not your usual "dine & dash" experience - we were able to sip leisurely, enjoy some apps, and even had the wine master/owner sit with us and enjoy tastings of a number of wines and liquors. Dimitri, our guide from Mont Travelers seemed like he was one of the family and the afternoon ended up feeling like we were spending time with new-found friends. Dimitri himself had a solid understanding of the wine we were tasting, explaining the grapes and processes, and once we were joined by the winemaster we were consumed by his enthusiasm for his vineyard, gardens, and wines. The side trip for a river boat ride and then the mountainside views of Lake Skadar topped off a perfect day. Highly recommended!

The best way to organize a short trip for few days, regardless of which part of Europe you are coming from. These few days were full of activities, cultural and historical engagements, moments of joy and fun in the nature and good company . Montenegro is a country where you can be the same day up to the high mountains in the north and on the beach with sunlight on your face on Adriatic sea. Thanks to awesome tour guide Dimitrije, these few days in Montenegro were fantastic, we're definitely coming back for more wiled beauty of Montenegro.

We picked the winery tour as we expected rain, travelling in November is maybe not the best idea, but this trip was! Our guide was very friendly, he looked after us, and despite the rain, he tried to make the trip as enjoyable as possible. The winery itself was really interesting and we had a lot of fun trying all the locally made wine and food. Thanks for a great day, we would definitely recommend this trip - would be even better in the sunshine.

We had a private tour with Dimitrije to visit the Ostrog monastery and Niagra waterfall, to kayak in the Skadar lake, and to visit a local winery.

Dimitrije was a fantastic guide. He speaks great English and we had no problem communicating at all. His driving was excellent and we felt safe and secure the whole time (unlike the horrible drivers you can find near Podgorica airport!).

The trip started with visiting a monastery - unlike most tour guides, he accompanied us the whole way through the monastery. He explained the historical and cultural context, helped us to light up candles for good wishes for our family, and took us to some really impressive view points.

Dimitrije then took us to Skadar lake after visiting the monastery. The view along Skadar lake was well worth visiting. If you are strong, try kayaking further; otherwise there were many boat options available.

We spent 2 hours kayaking in the lake, which was amazing. We did not have lunch and Dimitrije managed to get us some sandwiches to take with us on the kayaks. Pay attention to the swans, as they have a strong sense of territory so will follow you along the way (rather interesting).

We then headed to the winery and tried different spirits and red and white wines. The normal portion of snacks is small, but Dimitrije organised a larger portion for us with very little extra money. It was a very local winery and was a lovely way of experiencing Montenegrean food and culture.

Last stop was the waterfall, which is worth visiting during May when it is not dry.

We would highly recommend this trip!

We also had other trips (Dumitor hiking, Canyon rafting and sightseeing in the Tara area) all through Dimitrije. He helped us to personalise our itinerary for a very reasonable price. We strongly recommend him!

Dimitrije was an excellent guide and really helped us out the entire trip when we didn’t have a travelling plan set. Not only the tour we booked was great with beautiful view and amazing organic wine, his suggestion and his local knowledge helped us plan out the other trips in the region and beyond. In addition, he went out of his way to take us to the next destination even though it was about 4 Joris drive in pouring rain at some points. You’ll be in good hands with Dimitrije!

The tour gave us a broad knowledge about the wine production at the region. Visiting Mrkan winery and all its organic production of fruits and vegetables, plus the wine tasting was a key part of the day. Adding to that, the stunning views of the hills cut by the Crnojevica river and the boat ride up to Skadar lake will be in our memories forever!!! Dimitrije was a superb guide and his hospitality and pleasure vibe during the day were the cherry top of the experience. We really do recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to know more about the nature and wines in Montenegro and wishes to taste the great hospitality of the people too.

When you Google the lake and the nature around, you get a bunch of amazing photos that look like they have been photo shopped but trust me, when you get there you will find that it's all very much real. All the beautiful colors, waterlilies and so many different kinds of birds, it just left me in awe. Everything is just so picturesque, the small town and the bridge and churches at the lake. The wines I tasted on the tour through wineries were unexpectedly good. My guide Dimitrije was a great choice, very knowledgeable yet entertaining, I wasn't bored not for a minute.

My mom & I had an absolute wonderful tour with Dimitri. He was very passionate and knew the exact right places to go. The combination of nature and winetasting was just perfect. The vineyard had an authentic feel to it. After the tour we asked Dimitri to bring us to Albania which was fine to him. All together this tour deserves a 10/10
