We loved how the different locations were ordered. It was really nice to start our trip off with Chichén Itzá before all the crowds came. Following that up with the cenote was also very refreshing. Ending the tour at the Cobá ruins was a good way to end Because we had just had food and cooled off from the heat at the cenote area. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and were very aware of our groups needs. They gave us time to explore on our own a bit, but also were close enough and spent enough time chatting with us that we felt like we had a very informative guided tour.
Our driver did a great job being on time and driving us to and from our location safely and swiftly. Make sure to bring extra cash so that you can pay for bikes, tips, and souvenirs along each stop. I would also recommend bringing a towel to dry off before having lunch.

My partner and I were picked up from our hotel at exactly 6:20 am, just as scheduled. Since we speak English, we were taken to a gas station to transfer to another van from the same agency, joining other English-speaking visitors. Our guide was the Maria, though I regret to say I’ve forgotten the driver's name.

The drive to Chichen Itza was long, but we stopped at a bus service station for a much-needed bathroom break. We arrived at Chichen Itza before 8 am, right when the site opens to visitors. Maria guided us through almost every single site at Chichen Itza, sharing not just the history, but also the captivating stories behind each location and the efforts of its excavation.

Following our exploration of Chichen Itza, we headed to the breathtaking Ik Kil Cenote. Its beauty was unparalleled, and the included meal was absolutely delicious. Our final stop was Coba, where Maria shared detailed information about the site. We were fortunate enough to see a few newly excavated sites, making us among the first visitors to witness these marvels.

The tour was absolutely extraordinary. While it was physically demanding to be out all day, we were provided with unlimited water, and Maria was always checking if we wanted to see more or take a rest, made a world of difference.

At the end of our tour, a fellow visitor asked Maria how many days a week she leads these tours. She answered six. It’s difficult to imagine going to the ruins almost every day in this heat. I can’t express how deeply I appreciate this tour and how people like Maria make it possible for visitors from all over the world to understand the cultural and historical significance of these incredible sites.

If you need a break from the beaches and want to experience something truly magnificent, book this tour. You won’t regret it.

We had a wonderful day with our guide Gabriel and driver Omar. They were both very friendly and helpful.
The tour was arranged in a small group in a mini van so we had abundant opportunities to talk to and learn from Gabriel about Chichen Itza, cenotes, Coba, local plants/animals, the history and everything! He also helped guests take many photos from different places/angles. Gabriel is professional and passionate. We could feel he loves his job and loves sharing the history about this wonderful land.
The tour departed early in the morning so we were able to get to Chichen Itza ahead of other large groups and before it gets too hot in the noon.
We went to Chichen Itza, Ik Kil and Coba as planned. The tour was arranged well with meals, drinks and stops for bathroom on the way.

Great package two Mayan ruins plus mesmerising cenote and it was only group of eight. We had fantastic time. I can’t thank enough the team who took care of us. Everything was planned perfectly. We avoided big crowd at every point of our travel. Our tour guide Gabriel was very accommodative with a lot to tell. Chichen Itzá was very hot though we arrived first thing in the morning. I will advise to take two bottles of water provided by the team and don’t forget the hat. I will recommend to wear sport/ tracking sandals not trainers just apply a lot of sunscreen on your feet. If you want to take phone to cenote make sure you have water protective pocket for it and don’t take anything with you except the phone. Ik Kil cenote breathtaking beautiful. Coba was amazing much cooler than Chichen Itzá. Take a bike or tricycle taxi, please don’t attempt to walk as in Coba all the ruins spread around the jungle not like in Chichen Itzá where all in the same square. You will not regret your decision if you choose this tour.

Picked up from Our hotel in a comfortable and air conditioned mini bus our adventure began with a visit to Chichen Itza, perhaps the most famous of all Mayan cities. We took a comfortable ride to The Mayan Metropolis that was Chichen Itza. Located in the Yucatan Peninsula. Our highly knowledgeable and friendly guide; Gabriel told us that Chichen Itza is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. The Pyramid of Kukulkan, also known as El Castillo, dominates the landscape. This step pyramid, Gabriel told us has precise astronomical alignment and serves as a testament to the Maya's advanced knowledge and engineering skills. Exploring Chichen Itza. Gabriel really brought it all to life. Leaving Chichen Itza, our journey took us to a refreshing Cenote. Next, we went further into the jungle to the ancient city of Coba. Unlike Chichen Itza, Coba is less restored, offering a more exciting experience. You can hire a bike or get wheeled about on a Rickshaw. Gabriel came with us and showed us the Ancient "Stelae" (carved stone slabs) depicting rulers and deities, offering insights into the city's history and its connection to the divine. Gabriel told us that the Mayan language was so complex only a small percentage has been translated. This is an amazing must do trip, a highlight of our stay and Gabriel made our trip to Mexico so worthwhile. We didn't get to say goodbye to him on our trip. We just want to say HUGE thanks!

Alejandro was a plethora of information , we learned more than we were expecting and he was so entertaining. Loved the whole day so much , very long and extremely hot but good. My only suggestion would be to have more breakfast snacks , it was a very long day (13 hours) with a late lunch, bring snacks if you can and a ton of water. The Cenote was amazing but his knowledge of everything was next level!

If you're looking for a tour that gets you efficiently to three sites and provides good photo ops, this is a good choice. You'll skip the huge tour bus crowds and the worst of the heat at Chichen, which is worth the extra money. If you're looking for in-depth archeological/cultural information about the sites or if you are tall/wide, I do not recommend this tour. Our guide was nice but the historical information we got was perfunctory. Coba, in particular, was only a 30 minute stop and even though it's an enormously important Mayan site and fascinating in its own right, we didn't learn much about it and didn't have time to fully explore it -- so as a result, it didn't feel worth all the extra driving (as other reviews have indicated). Also, the mini bus seats are narrow and don't have much leg room, so if you are tall or broad shouldered (like my husband) you will be miserable because you spend many hours in the bus. Honestly, with a more informative tour and a slightly smaller group (so that you spend less time doing pickups and more time at Coba instead of rushing through it), this would've been great, but as is I wish that we'd chosen a different option. It wasn't what we were hoping for.
