The story of food is the story of the people.
Explore the unique and authentic street food and traditional quisine of the Sacred Valley.
Food can tell many stories… cultural, social, economic, and sometimes also emotional and spiritual.
Our tour invites you to take an in-depth look at the relationship between food and the people, through an experiential encounter with the typical street food and traditional quisine of the Sacred Valley of Peru.
The tour begins with a morning of tasting in the charming market area of the town of Urubamba. We will then take a tour to the magical Inca town of Ollantaytambo. Then we drive up the breathtaking mountains of the Andes to visit an indigenous Peruvian family and enjoy a traditional festive lunch. In the evening we will return to Urubamba, to finish the day with a local dessert.
So come with me and dive into an exiting, authentic and delicious experience. Lets go get something to eat!

We booked the tour with Liat for our family: two adults and three children (ages 7,9,12). Liat was AMAZING and the kids and us loved her from the start. The tour was intersting and very tasty, and Liat made sure everyone will taste and enjoy Peruvian food.
The visit to the family was great, and we learned so much from this authentic experience. We had a fantastic day, and I think it's a must!

The tour was just amazing!
My wife and I just wanted a fun food tour, but we got much more than that!
Liat shred with us the stories about the culture of the natives, the connection of the food to the indigenous people all the way back to the Inca time, we visited countless street food counters and the food just got more and more delicious as we continued.
After the beginning in Urubamba, we continued to Ollantaytambo and everyone shared where they came from and their feelings at the trip so far.
We then went to a small village where one of the families hosted us at an amazing fruits-oriented meal which was delicious (again).
The tour ended in Urubamba where we had chorizos for desert.
Super recommended! Go to Liat as soon as you are around urubamba to have a taste of the street food and the markets!

Highly recommend Liat's food tour in Urubamba. Beyond special foods, meeting people and culture - Liat gives love and warmth to each participant, it is important for her to produce thought-provoking content about life. We got a lot more than we expected. The tour includes a visit to the market, at local people's stalls, in a traditional home, meaningful conversations - all with delicious food in the stomach. Her phone number for inquiries - + 51967574380

The most unique food tour we’ve experienced. Highly recommend for the Sacred Valley!
Liat’s free spirit exerts amazing energy. She’s informative and attentive, making the full day tour such a grand (and an intentional) experience!
It was the most culturally enriched “culinary” tour we’ve experienced. We enjoyed seeing Urubamba & Ollantaytambo, and the highlight was meeting an Inca family in the Andes Mountain who welcomed us and shared their Inca traditional ways and home cooked meal. Wow, amazing!! Well worth it!
. May 19, 2024
. Air conditioned, comfortable car for transportation
. We grazed on food and drinks through out the day. There was a lot to graze on and never felt empty-stomached

It was one of the most interesting and eye opening tour we participated in since it not only focused on the food aspect (which was great!) but gave us a new perspective on the life and culture of the local people. Liat give all the participants a warm & personal feeling from the first second and sharing in very openly and authentic way her life story. Her unique attitude and way give an additional value to the all tour. We ate many delicious local cuisines and visited local markets and a local family house in a village.

Amazing tour!
Liat was so much fun and caring, encouraged us to try all the amazing delicious local street food we probably wouldn't try alone.
We tried a lot and ate a lot :) Liat took care of everything, and explained about the food, the traditions, and history of the sacred valley!
Worth your money time!!!

We had an incredible day with Liat. She took us through a food journey that tells the story of the beautiful people and food of this region. We wished we had taken the tour with her earlier in our stay so that we would have had the courage to try the amazing food that can be found on the streets of Urubamba. The highlight of our tour was our visit with Matteo and lunch with his lovely family.
Liat is a beautiful soul and it's her unique perspective that made the tour even more special.
One word of advice, come hungry and skip breakfast!!
