#1. Start/end at your hotel
Hard to tell the taxi driver to go to the meeting point in Japanese? sweaty after the tour? No worries! The tour starts and ends at your hotel! (If your hotel is out of the range, let us discuss the starting point. additional charges to be applied)

#2. e-bikes
We use e-bikes, so the motor will assist you when you pedal. It is a relaxing activity. You don’t have to worry about the hill any more!

#3. Private
Each tour will last about 3 hours. We will propose a route but this is a private tour, so you can go wherever you want with your own pace.

You can also make requests such as changes of starting time, extension of the tour duration, or visits to certain spots. Let us know your requests when you sign up. (additional charges to be applied for each request)

Our tours range from 15-20km, from skyscrapers to back streets in Tokyo, with multiple short stops along the way to give commentaries and let you drink up.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Kaminarimon, the symbol of Asakusa. In addition to an explanation of the Kaminarimon, we will try to take a commemorative photo.

This is the remains of a bridge along the Sumida River. Without explanation, it would be just a park and a road, but we will explain the history and bustle of the Edo period hidden here.
3.
Kitasenju is a vibrant local neighborhood. You will feel the enthusiasm of people living in Tokyo. The back streets, known as "fish bones," local shrines, and Japanese sweets are full of charm. You might have a chance to communicate with local people.
4.
Shioiri Park is an open green park where you can comfortably cycle along the Sumida River. Riding while feeling the breeze is the charm of this bike tour. On top of that, we will tell you about a story here before this area was turned into Shioiri Park.
5.
Sumida Park is one of the highlights of the tour. We will take you to the best photo spot of Tokyo Skytree from along the Sumida River. This is a great spot for all kinds of people, such as photographers, Instagrammers, and people who want to take commemorative photos!
6.
Memory Lane has been around since shortly after WWII. It has become a place full of enthusiasm, with many people toasting each other with a glass of beer even at the daytime. You will see an interesting contrast to the clean Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office area.
7.
The area surrounding the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is divided neatly. It is well worth seeing, but it is doubly interesting to know why such a vast site is so neatly divided!
8.
Hatomori Hachiman Shrine is a lushly green shrine located in Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku. It offers a tranquility that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. What a surprise, you can see mini-Mt. Fuji at this shrine! By the way, what does shrines mean? Is it different from temples?
9.
The gingko trees lining the outer garden of Meiji Shrine are worth a visit. The very well-maintained avenue of trees can be seen like a artistic painting just by taking a picture.
10.
You will pass by Tokyo's most famous tourist spot.
11.
The Imperial Palace is located in the very center of Tokyo. Not only the gates that have remained from the Edo period, but the view of Tokyo CBD from the Imperial Palace is what you should not miss!
12.
Long called a ghost town, it has finally been developed and transformed into a modern shopping mall. It offers a view of the city's commercial center.
13.
Welcome to Tokyo's reclaimed lands. We will let you know Tokyo's soul food, Monja and the development of the Tokyo Bay area. You can't miss a 99-year-old Japanese sweets shop there!
14.
Nihonbashi is the very exact center of Tokyo. It is supposed to be a gorgeous bridge but covered by the Metropolitan Expressway. But You will learn more about the history of Tokyo when you will get our explanation. The latest keyword is 2040. We will let you know why.
15.
Tokyo Tower is one of the most photogenic symbols. But from where should we take the beautiful pictures? The answer is in the tour.

We had a fabulous experience with Kazuma. He speaks terrific English and is super knowledgeable and friendly. The electric bikes are a great way to see the city. Very easy to ride. We appreciate how Kazuma emphasized safety. Tokyo is a lovely city, and it's even more fun to see the city in a relaxed way on an electric bike. We HIGHLY recommend the experience.

Our family enjoyed the hotel door-to-door service we received. Starting from our hotel in Shibuya, we e-biked approximately 13 miles, stopped at places such as the Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace, and even a small, local neighborhood bakery, without breaking a sweat! Kazuma-san was awesome...so thoughtful and caring. We'd highly recommend him!

My gripe - my face hurt from smiling so much! Kazuma ("K") provided excellent attention to the planning, ride and follow up. I felt safe, had fun and learned a great deal about both Tokyo and Japan. The adventure began when K picked me up in the hotel lobby, with the e-bikes, which he coordinated with the hotel. Once outside, he fit the bike to me, provided a quick safety discussion, offered me choices of experiences which included comfort and skill level, and we were off in no time. Tokyo is crowded and busy yet, K navigated smoothly, gave great signals, and in no time I was relaxed, and thoroughly enjoying myself. At each stop, K offered a description and bit of history of the location. K taught English for many years so I was able to easily understand him. At the end of the ride, he shared pictures he had taken of our trip. I so appreciated this as it allowed me to simply enjoy the sights and be immersed in the experiences. K was open to all my questions and coached me on cultural nuances I was curious about. If you enjoy an immersive way to gain a sense of Tokyo and exercise at the same time...this is a no brainer!

Kazuma was super flexible, planning an itinerary for us with less than 24 hours notice, planning a route that would get us to the ideal ending location on the way to our next tour, as well as handing impromptu requests to get some snacks when we were hungry (he took us a great Japanese sweets spot). He was super knowledgeable, proving lots of details at each trip and able to answer all my many questions! And best of all, he was very kind and concerned about our safety.

Kazuma was the best guide! We were only in Tokyo two days so this was the perfect way to see a lot and we learned so much! Kazuma was very accommodating and knowledgeable and we were off of busy streets for most of the tour which was nice. Highly recommend!

Kazuma was my tour guide and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. His knowledge of Shinjuku was amazing. Lots of small streets to take to avoid cars and busy areas with lots of pedestrians. Tons of information, really glad I took the tour the first day so I could explore the places he showed me later, would do it again

A very different way to see Tokyo, be a local and ride across the city.
We went off the beaten tourist route and experienced the real Tokyo. Very easy to get around and exercise while you do it.
The bikes are extremely easy to use and being battery powered made light work of any hills.
Kazuma was a knowledgeable and friendly local guide who welcomed us to his city and could not do enough for us.
Highly recommend Kazuma and the tour to anyone visiting Tokyo.
Would have given more stars but cannot do more than 5.
