The observatory is also a great place to enjoy panoramic views of LA including the Hollywood Sign.
After your tour, enjoy a show in the world-famous planetarium theater. This 40-minute immersive show includes live narration and out-of-this-world projections. Shows are open to ages 5 and older.

Our tour guide Angelica was excellent and did a fantastic
job. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind to our group. It was well worth the money. Being made aware of the two short movies that were available also was well worth the money, informative and inspiring.

Oscar was great. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and high energy. I would recommend him for sure. He took us through whole Observatory and always open to our many questions.

I went to the observatory for the first time and had a blast! The tour guide, Oscar, presented all the information in a way I could easily understand. I fell in love wth science after this tour and planterium show. I learned so mich and appreciate LA a lot more. I definitely recommend this site and tour.

The enthusiasm of the tour guide and his lifelong dedication to atronomy, space science and storytelling made for an excellent experience for us who participated. Inside and outside of the observatory was showed and made come to life through his stories. Excellent experience. Two thumbs up!

Estevan was a great guide! Very informative and was very funny. Easy to find the tour meeting spot. Small numbers in the group was great. Great value for the money. Would recommend to friends and family. In fact told my son who just moved to LA that he should do the tour. So nice to hear the history and the discoveries of the observatory.

Estaban, was our guided tour guide through Griffith Observatory. He is an asset to the company. He was excellent. Very knowledgeable and fun at the same time. We loved the small tour experience. Will take another tour with your company again.

Our tour guide Angelica was very helpful and so adorable!! She was well versed in her knowledge about the observatory!! She taught us several new things. I really enjoyed her!

Be well prepared for an extensive journey just to reach the observatory! It’s an incredibly difficult job to get parking and if you do, be prepared to walk uphill just to get there! This is no fault of Viator or our tour guide.
