This experience was great. It started with entertainment from a Geisha, and then the sumo match. At the end, the crowd had an opportunity to challenge the sumo wrestlers, which was fun to watch. Asa Keitch was a great sumo wrestler and entertainer! We had a wonderful time. The food was great as well.

We love it! Great explanation from the host, awesome hospitality, and delicious food. I went with my husband and 3 kids (3, 8, 10 year old). All of us like it. You can even wrestle with professional sumo!

One thing to keep in mind is set the name of the restaurant as location instead of copying address. We copied the address and it leads us to Taito City, Tokyo, 111-0032, which a 9 min walk away from the restaurant

We had a great time! 100% recommended. A lot of fun and a warm energy. My son enjoyed “fighting” the sumo wrestlers very much.

Having been to an actual sumo tournament, this is clearly a very different kind of experience. But it is highly entertaining – – part.WWF, Part Ville – – it was both highly amusing and informative. The food was delicious and the whole thing was just very well executed. It is however, more comical and silly then a real sumo tournament, but amazing experience, especially for families.

It was good to experience for tourists rather than going to an actual sumo tournament. The 3 stars is because the MC was an hour late and we had to wait around for her, the food which was provided was not very good and extremely bland, and when the wrestlers were fighting volunteers from the audience, there were also too many kids participating in the challenge, hence why 50% of the people in the audience left out of bordem and missed the final photo opportunity with the wrestlers. This was definitely not the providers fault but is something to keep in mind.

This show was a delight for us. We wanted to see a real sumo match while visiting Japan, but from our research, those are all-day events. If you're looking for entertainment and want to learn a bit about sumo wrestling while enjoying a meal, this is the right activity to add to your itinerary.

The event featured not only sumo demonstrations but also a geisha performance, adding cultural depth to the experience. Near the end of the show, audience members were invited to challenge the wrestlers - an opportunity that some take a bit too seriously.

A word of caution: if you're seated near the ring, be prepared for the possibility of unexpected close encounters. In the heat of the moment, a wrestler might accidentally end up in your lap! While this adds an element of excitement, it's worth considering, especially if you prefer to maintain a safe distance from the action.

Overall, this show offers a condensed, entertaining introduction to sumo wrestling, perfect for tourists with limited time or those who prefer a more casual experience than a full tournament. It successfully balances education, entertainment, and audience participation, making for a memorable Japanese cultural experience.

The English commentary was excellent and I recommend this activity for all ages.
