My wife and I had a lovely day with Mark. Our tour started by touring some of Melbourne’s historic neighborhoods. One stop included stopping to see the beautiful beach huts on Brighton Beach. Mark being a native of Melbourne, gives a wonderful perspective of the history of Melbourne. We went to Moonlit Sanctuary to see the the Koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats etc….. off to several beach scenic overlooks on our way to Phillips Island to see the Penguins!! Prior to the evening penguin arrival Mark recommended a nice Italian restaurant. The night with the penguins should be included on everyone’s bucket list. To see thousands of adorable little blue penguins arrive on quest at sundown and march past you to their burrows is a reminder on how wonderful nature is!!! Everyone of all ages were in awe of these little off balanced adorable penguins!! Final thoughts, Mark is the best!!! His energy and enthusiasm is off the charts! He opens doors, he gets ahead to secure your passes through entry gates. He knows where the best locations are for photo opportunities. He also takes photos of you if needed. I absolutely loved the penguin parade and the koala sanctuary. It would have been great to add the seal viewing to this but I dont know if that is feasible. Lovely guide - would recommend highly.

Firstly, Mark picked us up on time, and it was a comfortable vehicle, he was informative and knew a lot about the areas that we were visiting, we learned a lot from his tour, and when we returned to our hotel, he gave our family Australian treats. Overall, it was a great tour and we enjoyed very much. Highly recommended.

Mark took us to popular spots and others off the beaten path on Phillips Island. He listened to what we wanted to do and suggested places we enjoyed. Mark is knowledgeable, friendly, and very customer service oriented. We learned a great deal about Melbourne and pertinent information relating to the tour we took. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip with Mark as our guide and would highly recommend him.

Sadly, we did not know that the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island wasa ticketed event and it was sold out the day we were able to go. Although Mark tried his best, he was unable to secure tickets. So this is not a review of the tour, it is a review of Mark’s time and effort to try to create an alternate tour agenda for us. It was beyond our expectations. Thank you!

If you are visiting Melbourne and want to include a visit to Phillip Island and you want something special, go no further than "Mark Melbourne private tour". He goes the extra mile to make your day on Phillip Island one you will remember for years to come.
The whole tour was fabulous. Mark picked the 4 of us up at our hotel and he was early which I liked. His vehicle is very comfortable to ride in.
We visited places on Phillip Island I have never visited before. We had time at Cape Woolamai, before heading to Summerlands to view the incredible coastline and then onto Nobbies and Seal Rocks. He didn't hurry us, so we had time to look at the beautiful coastline scenery of Phillip Island. After a nice dinner at Cowes we headed to an area where the cruise ships off load passengers who are going to see the Penguin Parade. Next stop was Penguin Parade to see the fairy penguins coming home at dusk.
As we were from Sydney, we didn't want to visit a wildlife park and most of the tours included a visit to the Koala Park or a wildlife park.
I rang and spoke to Mark and then via e-mails we worked out a day tour that would suit us. We had the most wonderful day. I would highly recommend Mark's Private tours.

Mark’s personality and lifelong knowledge of the area made the unforgettable trip to Phillip Island to see the Parade of Penguins even more memorable! We saw the parade, of course, but the ride around the peninsula before sunset took us to burrows (some with penguins— even the one made from an old drain pipe!), and beautiful views of the bay and sea.

It was a plus to have a guide that shows us with details and knowledge about what we saw. The information provided and the places we visited was great. We visited the koalas sauntuary and the pinguins, a great experience. Mark, picked us at our hotel and took us for the whole day, he eso very kind and friendly guy, I strongly recommended. We had two lovely days with Mark . We toured wineries and had a wonderful lunch at a winery . On day two, we went to see the penguins with a stop at an animal reserve. Comfortable car . Good knowledge . Fun stories . Great experience . Well worth the money . Cindy
