We had a fantastic tour with Josipa - she had really good insight into the history and architecture of Split and the Diocletian palace. We learned a lot about the development of split from the Roman era to today. Josipa took us on a great route avoiding large gangs of tourists and finding shade in the hot sun. Josipa was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide! I chose this specific tour because of the art history lens and small group size, and it did not disappoint! I was lucky enough to end up with a private tour and learned a lot about the city of Split. Josipa showed me sites and streets I would not have known to visit otherwise and explained everything from 4th century history to modern day restoration initiatives. I highly recommend this walking tour!

It turns out I scheduled our tour for the wrong day and we didn’t have time to do it another day. Josipa was very understanding and communicative. She made sure we weren’t charged. It’s too bad we could t do the tour!

Even though we had visited Split on several occasions before, this time we decided to take a professional tour guide to show us around. It was the best decision we could have made. If you want more than just a cookie-cutter Split experience and want to learn more than just the basic facts, I wholeheartedly recommend choosing Josipa as your guide. The tour was engaging, thought-provoking, but most of all fun and not tiresome in the slightest. She took us places we never would have ventured on our own as they are not the go-to tourist destinations, and we ended up learning so much about Split beyond just the amazing ancient palace. I will surely recommend her to all our friends who are traveling to Split.
