This is a countryside day to learn more about Provencal wines, try the best speciaities of the region and feel the peaceful atmosphere of authentic villages away from the hustle and bustle of tourism.
You will admire beautiful landscapes around Sainte Victoire mountain, have a walk through vines fields and visit a winery where you will taste the estate wines, learn more about art of tasting and wine productin. If you feel, you can have a little game of pétanque in the village or a coffee and croissant :)
At my place, in the garden or in the air-conditioned reception room, with a panoramic view of Sainte Victoire, you will taste the best Provencal specialities, olive oils and different cheese and of course the best traditional bread. I will explain you how to match all this food with different types of wine.
Coming back to your hotel, we will make a stop in Saint-Maximim-la-Sainte-Beaume or Aix-en-Provence.

One of the best and most memorable experiences of our trip to France! Tom truly showed us a day in the life of the locals through food, culture and fun! We began in Aix-en-Provence, where we were let in on the best local boulangerie in Aix, then made our way through the countryside with a stop by the beautiful Mt. Sainte-Victoire, then in Puyloubier to play Petanque and a relaxed tour at a local winery where we (admittedly) picked up (more than) a few bottles. But the true "piece de resistance" was visiting his home to cook delicious traditional appetizers together - I do suggest you come hungry because we made over 8 different dishes and relaxed on a sunny spring day beneath his pool terrace. Before this tour, we joked that we could "rent a friend for the day", but by the end of it, we all truly felt like we had made a new friend, who got us all back safely to our original destination. We already miss Tom!

We' ve been already in south of France, but this time with you, we enjoyed the nature with a nice glass of wine and we loved it.
Very good guide. He knows very well the countryside of LA PROVENCE.
