We recommend this cooking opportunity to families and adults alike. Two wonderful ladies who speak very good English, helped us make two local dishes that we can replicate at home. Why eat something at a restaurant and not know how to make it? In addition we had very good conversations and getting a bit of local experience, The food we made was delicious. Plan your class around visiting the local area and market.

My kid and I chose Takoyaki class. At first, it was hard to make perfect round shape while trying to roll the fillings. The teacher was patient and always tried to encourage us. Finally we made it and we all felt a sense of achievement. Takoyaki was yummy, especially the ones we made by ourselves. We really enjoyed the experience on this class.

We took the bento class. It was great to see and experience stuff I have seen in convenience stores made from scratch. I loved learning to hand shape the onigiri and learning how to make those cool bento multi layer omelettes in the special rectangular pan (I need to buy one!).
The teacher made it so easy to follow the recipe and adapt to my own taste with ideas of fillings for onigiri too.
Delicious but so simple!
