We were picked up from our hotel in tokyo and it was just over an hour drive which was very comfortable and we were given the option to connect our phones to play music also the seats in the car were very comfortable. The first destination was by far the busiest and very beautiful, the weather definitely plays a big part in the experience. I’d suggest to check if it’s cloudy prior to booking. There’s 400 steps to walk up to have the view of the mountain but it is worth the walk. There’s also a temple. Another point we stopped at we got ice cream and saw the mountain from a bench there were loads of flowers it was very pretty. There was a souvenir shop there too. We then paid an extra 10,000¥ to get on a speed boat ride where our tour guide was very kind and took loads of photos for us throughout the whole trip. I’d highly recommend going on the speed boat it was definitely the highlight of the trip. We then had some food at a local restaurant and visited a temple then a small village where there’s another souvenir shop.
