The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of the city. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way for showing local culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Our food tour in Barcelona is a walking tour in stops, we are going to stop in at least 4 different bars and taste the best typical dishes along with drinks of Barcelona! You are going to be guided by a local food expert, who will tell you curiosities about the local gastronomy tradition.

Our guide was lovely and very nice. It would have been a better experience to have incorporated more history of the city into the tour. Also, when doing so to have whole group gathered around so everyone can hear. Food experience was excellent at various places

Had a great time with Daiam!, she was very knowledgeable. In many aspects of the city pointed out a lot of interesting things. She took us to amazing places for food and explained all the wonderful things that we tried. Highly recommend this tour asked for Daiam.

Daiam was such a wonderful guide! She was able to tell us the history of the area as well as the history of Spanish food. She was incredibly friendly, informative and fun. We really enjoyed our tour and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys eating.

Daiam was so informative and worked hard to figure out different options for those of us who had gluten-free and vegetarian dietary requirements. The food and drinks were incredibly good and the tour group was the perfect size with only the 6 of us (plus our guide)! Would highly recommend this tour with Daiam!

We had fun with Dai. She understood we were jet lagged so we took the 4th stop - dessert- packed up to the hotel. She went above and beyond as she managed to get a taxi in the pouring rain as got soaked.
Thank you so much Dai for a fun tapas tour. My husband and I appreciate all that you did for us.

Thought I'd give this a go whilst I was in town, never really done Barcelona before. Glad I did it as it was much more sociable doing it as a group. Carmen gets everyone talking to each other. Really enjoyed visiting the less touristy food places, the food and hospitality was amazing and generally loved all the little back streets and snippets of history....such a beautiful place to visit. I recommend highly!

Our evening with Violetta was amazing. She alone is worth the price. Tossing in the drinks and food, it truly was an eat better experience. Our five of us (including 3 teenages) had a blast trying different foods and drinks. She introduced us to the best vermut of the trip. As an added bonus, she also recommended a few additional places, including one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. You must do this tour if only to find out about the sandwich!!!

Loved seeing the small cafe/restaurants that are in business. Had some interesting food.
Guide was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.
Good tour to see places you wouldn’t normally get to see.
