A special WINE MAKING EXPERIENCE, fun and ecucational for everyone, will let you understand how different varieties of pure wines are blended to obtain the final complex wines, each one with a peculiar bouquet of scents and flavours.
With a 25 minute ride, a comfortable van will shuttle you to the green and beautiful rolling hills of the Chianti Wine Region, in the Tuscan countryside.
Once there, a wine expert will welcome you and take you for the ancient cellar visit, still used today for wine production. The sommelier will explain the sophisticated techniques of wine making and teach you to distinguish the different and various scents and flavors that each wine presents.
After the demonstration, you will become the enologist, creating your own personal wine blend.
You will then be served dinner, while you will learn the basics of pairing different wines with specific dishes and the region's finest olive oil with typical unsalted Tuscan bread.

Perfect evening hosted by our guide/sommelier Mateo and additionally the wine tasting/olive oil tasting host Lorenzo. Very educated and friendly our guide walked us through all the processes of winemaking, and olive oil presssing and guided us through blending our own creations. Topped by a delicious dinner gourmet as advertised. This was a wonderful complement to the busy hustle of the Florence city in a relaxing and beautiful setting. This tour surpassed our expectations :)

This is a tough review… I think the issue was it was just 2 of us on the tour. If there had been more people, the review might be different. Our tour guide was good, the winery beautiful but the dinner was not ideal. Very long dinner ( with just us and our guide at the table) and no choice of food options. While this is a small group tour, I would recommend that it also have a minimum so there are at least 4 or 5 people.

It was absolutely the most wonderful experience. The winery is breathtaking. Wine tasting, Michelin dinner. And wine blending they even bottle our blend as gift.

A fantastic visit to the Chianti region, beautiful hillside and views back to Florence. Our guide Tania was very helpful and shared the history of the region. The wine and olive oil tasting was interesting followed by some fun blending wines. Enjoyed a gourmet dinner at the stunning restaurant and were dropped back at our hotel by our guide Tania, very appreciative of her efforts. A fun small group experience.

Our guide Alessandro/Alex was delightful. My daughter and I ended up with a private tour to the winery. He drove us in a comfortable van to Diadema Wine Bar. We started with a tour of the cellar where we learned about Olive Oil making as well as the wine harvest and types of grape varieties. We then entered the wine bar to sample 5 wines and 2 olive oils. We bought 4 wines and 2 bottles of EVOO and received free shipping to the states.This is a tremendous deal because when we visited a wine bar in Bellagio you had to buy 12 bottles and then received discounted shipping. So glad we bought here and helped this family owned and operated business. The views were spectacular as was the 5 course gourmet meal…. How can I forget our Somalier class where we mixed our own red blend. At the end of dinner we were presented with our bottled creation, sealed, labeled, and ready for travel.

Had and absolutely amazing experience here. So much delicious wines. Learned new things. Delicious boutique dinner. Great tour guide and fun fellow tourists! So much fun. Loved the make your own wine :) wear mosquito repellent!!!

I’m sure this would have been a wonderful tour. I did not get to participate. I messaged the tour guide and asked questions and they were responsive. My last question, no one responded and I didn’t not get to participate on the tour.

This was a most wonderful experience, well organised and informative .
We tasted four wines a white , a rosé and two reds plus two olive oils . You are then invited to purchase wines and olive oil, we bought both wine and oil .
You then go back into the cellar and blend your own bottle of wine, this was fun and very interesting.
Mateo our driver and guide was very informative as his past working as a sommelier came in handy plus he lives in Firenze so was interesting to chat with over dinner .
The 5 course dinner was amazing 2 appetisers a first and second coarse then dessert .
Our group of 6 was a perfect size and we all had fun .
Definitely worth doing .
