This is the best way to see the city and go around several times to determine where you want to get off and see more. It seems I could have also taken my mobility scooter with me. I loved the earphones that told you about the area. With the weather being great you can be inside or outside, it was great, well worth it.

We purchased our tickets online. We checked in with Ms. Beverley at Union Station. She was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and provided us 5 star customer service. She made our great-nieces even more excited for their first trip to DC and our Big Bus tour.

Had a terrible experience. I have been on Big Bus tours in many cities worldwide and never had an experience like the one in DC. A few stops into the tour, the driver stopped, left the bus for 15 mins before returning. The very next stop, we were forced to change buses to a bus without fans or AC. Mind you, it was 90+ degrees. On top of that, we had to wait 30+ mins in the heat for a driver to show up. At that point, I took my family off the bus and found an Uber because my 5 yo was so hot. No explanation, no care from Big Bus. When I contacted Big Bus, they offered me a free ticket to use at a later date. That’s it. I wasted almost 2 hours and only saw 3-4 of 17 stops due to incompetence. Also, it is unsafe to have passengers on a bus with no fans or AC in 90+ degree heat.

Good tour of the DC. Loved the headphone options. Took you the places you needed to see. On time. Try to sit under the shade its hot in DC right now.

Being able to hop off at sights we wanted to tour and hop back on afterwards.
The duration of the tour was perfect.
The price was reasonable for my family.

Waiting for long periods to board bus with no a/c. Looooong stops at bus station with no a/c.
Bus stops poorly marked. 10 buses in one area, none near us. No earbuds offered until half way through ride we asked why we couldn’t hear the tour details. Huge fail in every way.

We were first time visitors to Washington and this was the best way to see the sights and then decide when and where to get off. The bus runs all day and there was always plenty of seating. The staff were lovely and helpful and also gave out free bottles of water due to the heat. Would definitely recommend
