ArtVo is an immersive art or ‘trick art’ gallery, where you are encouraged to touch the art and become part of the art by taking photographs from designated points on the floors of the gallery.
There are 9 themed zones to explore with over 80 hand painted immersive installations just minutes from Melbourne CBD.
And there’s a new theme - Fantasy - spanning the entire course of the gallery. The Fantasy theme will see people explore the ocean, polar ice caps, space and the forest. Plus, the dreamscape art will see some very exciting interactive experiences.
Getting to ArtVo is easy. Catch the tram- the FREE City Circle (35), 70 or 86 tram- to Waterfront City/Docklands stop D11 or jump in the car and head to The District Docklands East or West multi-level car parks, where parking is easy.

Beautiful artwork. Pictures are breathtaking. Takes around 1.5 hrs. Took a 100 pictures 🙂 Booked it online. Was easy. Staff was nice.

I had the privilege of visiting the ArtVo museum Melbourne recently, and it was a truly awe-inspiring experience! The museum's collection is incredibly diverse and impressive works.

My only issue with ArtVo would be have a receptionist that will inform you how the whole experience works. She did not do this and we had to do the whole thing again once we realised how it worked. Great way to spend an afternoon

I went here with my two sisters, and we had a lot of fun. We were probably not as inventive as most people with the poses, but we still had fun and that is what it is about.
The man at reception was very helpful as well.

This was a fun activity to do with friends. I can imagine it would be lots of fun with kids, but we still enjoyed it as adults. But, to enjoy it as an adult you have to let go of some inhibitions and just get amongst it and play! It is a really clever idea that allows you to be creative. Some of the images have a bit of wear and tear so they don't have the same impact in photos, but most come out great.

We had a fun time at Artvo, we brought friends from insterstate and they enjoyed themselves as well. We got some great photos and made some wonderful memories, however, the closing times are quite early. It would be more convenient if it was open until later at least once or twice in the week.
