The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Naples, in the Vomero Area. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

We had Michele for our guide and he was absolutely amazing. He took us to all the great places for fried pizza, espresso, tarales, a sit down lunch and the best dessert I have ever tasted. He was personable and we had great conversation. Anyone should consider this tour if you are new to Naples!

I highly recommend Do Eat Better food tours. I arranged the tour with barely one day of anticipation and they managed to set up everything for me very fast. My guide was Alessandra, which did a fantastic job. Since the beginning she was very friendly and made sure during all of our walk that I understood everything about the food, its origins, ingredients and traditions. She even took the time to teach me some italian words and to provide some recommendations on places to visit during my stay in Napoli. Again, Alessandra made the whole experience to be very unique.
It is good to take this tour at any point of the trip but I would personally recommend to do it soon after arrival, to have a broader knowledge and understanding of what to expect in terms of food around Napoli. This experience comes highly recommended.
