The Do Eat Better food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of the city. The tourist is guided by a Foodie, a local buddy able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

We had our tour with Annalisa. She was brilliant. For about 3 hours she took us around Palermo explaining to us all about the diverse cultural history, whilst stopping off for food along the way. The food was delicious!
She was so passionate about her city and it really showed in the way she spoke about it.
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to see and eat their way around Palermo. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide and day out in the city.

The tour was really great. Annalisa was a great companion. Super personable and super friendly. Although we booked the tour in English, she told us a lot in German. It felt like visiting a friend who introduced you to the city and, of course, especially the food. All in all, we had a great time. Thank you so much Annalisa ❤️

I would like to provide some words with regards to the excellent 3.5 hrs. Traditional Food Tour, in Palermo-Sicily on May 29/‘24. A couple with their child, my cousin and I were the parties participating in this tour. Annalisa Allessi who I believe belongs to the “Do Eat Better” company, was our guide. She knows English, Spanish, Italian, and provided the tour in English. Annalisa has a friendly, approachable and delightful personality, that made us all feel, as if we were family. She took us to various places to eat the typical Siciliano cuisine (Ex. pasta with eggplant), that included appetizers (panelle, arancini, sfinciuni), and desert (cannoli, gelato). She also, provided cultural siciliano history, in a very wholehearted manner. Annalisa made this food tour, very enjoyable and relaxed. I highly recommend Annalisa to be your tour guide for a local siciliano gastronomic traditional food tour. Thank you Annalisa.

Our Tour Guide Annalisa was just Amazing! She told us a lot about the history of Palermo (and especially about the food). It was very interesting and delicious! I can recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about Palermo and the food.

We had the awesome experience of a tour with Annalisa this afternoon. We enjoyed so many tastes of Palermo but what was the most impressive aspect was her passion for her city, its history, its recent progress and her love of everything in this magnificent city
I am a 71 year old woman and she was so accommodating of my stamina.
We were literally stuffed after the various stopping points and super friendly staff wherever we stopped. Palermo pizza, pasta, arrancina (female version versus arrancino in other towns in Sicily) , gelato, a cold appetizer with eggplant, celery, olives, etc). My husband had some wine too.
Truly exceptional. She made us wish we had more time in Palermo.
