The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Venice. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected eateries, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

We had a great tour with Olimpia, who encouraged a fun atmosphere with the group. The stops were exactly as described in the tour description. Very generous with the food and drink portions and fun getting to wander the less-traveled streets of Venice. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful time my family had on the Food Tour! Our host, Emma, was outstanding. She is perfect for this type of job! She knows her history of local restaurants as well as what Venetians eat! Her energy/personality is amazing! Emma took us to 5 different places around Venice to try different foods. She gave us the food options at each restaurant of what we could try, then ordered it. We also got to eat as much as we wanted to so come hungry! Our last stop was dessert! Loved it!

Food tours are a must for us when we travel. Valentina was great! Amazing energy, knowledge and was so helpful with evening. We loved that we visited small local spots and in an area of Venice we probably would not have walked through and found. So we all really enjoyed discovering that neighborhood. We also really lucked out with a great group of people in our tour and were happy to chat with them. Food was great as well. We liked 4 of the 5 places. I totally understand that this was Eat Like a Venetian food tour, so it just wasn’t going to pizza and pasta, but one of the spots didn’t have tons of options for those that didn’t enjoy seafood as much. Most of the food was left for a couple to eat; they were adventurous with food. Other than that, everything was wonderful. I do suggest at least 1 place for people to eat pasta since we are in Italy. That would be my only suggestion, just mix up the types of dishes we’re eating so we can get a good variety of food versus eating cicchetti at 3 different spots. I do highly recommend the tour. It’s worth it!

It was a great time.
Our guided tour is recommended to see all the back streets and not the main tourist area. Give if a go.

The tour was very good. Our guide Emma was fantastic. She made everything easy. She provide helpful information about where we were eating and drinking.
The second to last stop was the only disappointment in the tour.

We did our tour with Anita Mancini who was great from putting us at ease and explaining things at the start, to helping us choose the best ice cream in Venice (I kid you not) at the end. We've eaten our way across quite a few countries, and love getting to know a place through its food. this tour was one of the best and a lovely way of discovering Venice. its history from the perspective of its normal people getting by on limited resources and turning them into great food. Also from the quiet alleys that office workers seek out for lunch away from the tourists. Anita brought it to life with her very own passion for her city, its food and its people. thank you.

Beatrice took us on a wonderful tour of several interesting restaurants/bars in Venice. We were able to sample a variety of awesome foods and the wide range of choices accommodated any and all dietary needs and desires. She was really knowledgeable about Venice, each establishment and wove a lot of interesting facts into the narrative as we walked, ate and drank. This was such a fun evening, I would definitely recommend this tour and especially ask for Beatrice.

Emma our guide was vivacious and very accommodating.
Food and drink were of good variety and quality (5 stops).
We expected a little more commentary and history of the tour area as experienced in other food tours in other cities around the world.
