Having a small group was nice especially when maneuvering around the accademia. Lorenzo was an excellent guide showing us the highlights of all the sites while avoiding the large crowded areas. The pickup location was easy to find and the tour was a great value for the money with little waiting at the Duomo and Accademia.

Anastasia was wonderful! Knowledgeable and fun! Her stories were lively but not too long. Great tour guide for teenagers.

Our guide was great giving us information that you normally would not know. If you're doing the climb just know NO backpacks are allowed. You are climbing up narrow twisting steps. A hippack with water is perfect. We loved seeing and hearing about Michaelangelo and again information that you otherwise would not know.

This was an informative tour and an excellent way to see these sights. The skip the line passes were worth it, simply to avoid the long lines for tickets! You can see the Florence Cathedral for free, but need tickets to climb the tower. The cathedral tickets give you access to all the religious buildings, such as the Duomo tour, the Bell tower and The Baptistry, and are valid for a couple of days. Your ticket up the Duomo tower, however, is timed and must be redeemed at that time. The tickets for the Academia Galleria are single use, timed entry only. There really are a lot of crazy steps up the tower. It was exhausting, but awesome views from the top.

Andrea was a great guide. Very knowledgeable. Tour of the Academia was amazing David was the highlight,Andrea helped us focus on details. We climbed the Duomo together , but then left on our own to enter the cathedral and Baptisry.
Go on the earliest tour to avoid crowds.

This was an excellent tour. I was happy that we booked it because we were guided around the highlights of Florence by our guide, Irene. The meeting point was easy to find. We went as a group to the Accademia and saw beautiful paintings and then we saw the David—which was incredible. Our guide walked us down the large aisle to the statue and then did some excellent explaining all about the statue. She made sure we saw it from behind as well (very interesting detail!). We then went to the Cathedral, which required us to stand in a long line, but it moved quickly. After the Cathedral, we did the Duomo climb and Irene climbed with us—which I thought was incredible. She guided us up the 460 something stairs and to the top. Even at the top, she pointed out things to see and identified the buildings we were looking at. I even heard a man say “wow, a tour guide is up here”. Irene was great and obviously knew her stuff like the back of her hand. I was nervous about the duomo climb, but there are stops along the way to catch your breath, but it is worth it, especially having Irene as a guide. It was a great day!

We loved the climb of the Duomo, however the tour guide went into too much detail on a single painting of Florence, which she stated was her favorite painting. She gave much detail to Michelangelo's David, and his unfinished work, but skipped over the rooms with other paintings and sculpted busts. We would have appreciated less detail on the few items she covered so we could have some information (even briefly) about the other artwork in the gallery.

Was a great way to learn a lot about Michealangelo and his sculpture. Skip the line was a great option for a hot summers day. Seeing the statue of David was truly magnificent and a highlight of this tour. Walking the Duomo not for the faint hearted. Sarah our guide was full of amazing knowledge and facts along the way.
